Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS

Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.

The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

  • Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
  • Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
  • Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
  • Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

Identification of chlorophenoxy herbicides by TLC in clinical toxicology
      M. SOBER*, M. LEKIC, F. KORAC, B. IMAMOVIC, A. MARJANOVIC, (*Fac. of Pharm., Univ. of Sarajevo, Cekalusa 90, 71 000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina)

Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations Plan. Chrom. 423-432 (2003). TLC of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 2-methyl-4-chloro-phenoxypropionic acid, 2,4-dichloropropionic acid, and 2,4-dichlorobutyric acid on precoated silica gel plates and silica gel, prewashed, and impregnated with Cu(II), Co(II) and Fe(III) salts with heptane - dioxane - acetic acid 60:40:1. Visualization of spots on precoated plates under UV 254 nm. The best results have been achieved with silica gel impregnated with 0.2 % CuSO4. In addition to efficient separation, such impregnation makes possible visualization without further use of reagents or UV lamps. New method for separation and identification.

      J. Planar Chromatogr. 23, 18-22 (2010). TLC of amphotericin B on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - borate buffer (pH 8.3) 4:5:1 in a chamber pre-saturated for 20 min. Detection under UV 366 nm. The hRf of the main component was 46, and of the minor component 31. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 385 nm. Direct bioautography with Candida albicans proved to be the most sensitive method, with a detection limit of 0.8 ng per spot. For densitometric evaluation of plates at 385 nm ten times more substance is required.

Estolide triglycerides of trewia nudiflora seed oil
      R. MADRIGAL, C. SMITH

Lipids 17, 650-655 (1982). For preparative separation silica plates were used with hexane - ether 6:4. For separation of hydrogenated oils into their various components, multiple development (4 or 5x) TLC was carried out with ether - benzene 1:99 followed by ether - benzene 3:97. Analytical TLC components were visualized by charring with sulfuric acid-dichromate or with iodine vapors. reparative TLC: bands were located by spraying with ethanolic dichlorofluorescein, followed by viewing under UV. The components of the seed oil of trewia nudiflora and mallotus phillipinensis were chromatographed and compared.
