Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Evaluation of the behaviors of C8-diol mixture using polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons and comparison with C18-cyano mixtures. J. Liquid Chromatogr. 18, 887-894 (1995). Preparation of RP-8 - diol mixed phases for 2D-TLC by mixing of silica-based bonded phases. Determination of the properties in terms of retention and mechanisms using polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons as model compounds. Comparison of the behaviors with those from RP-18 - cyano mixed phases.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 9, 247-253 (1996). Evaluation of 4 commercially available HPTLC plates for quantitative fluorescence imaging analysis using scientific charge-coupled device (CCD) detection. The investigation examined the effects on the observed background intensity as it relates to: the technique used for precleaning the plates, the fluorescence from the plate backing material, the presence of inhomogeneous fluorescence 'impurities', and the thickness of the glass backing material and silica layer. The results show that plate cleaning is a crucial step in providing for a correctable fluorescence background sufficient for obtaining reliable quantitative results. The influence of particle size on sensitivity was negligible compared with the fluorescence background from the plates. Detection limits of approx. 100 fg were obtained for rhodamine 6G with plate precleaning.
J. Liq. Chrom. & Rel. Technol. 22, 2879-2894 (1999). Detailed description of impregnation by dipping and developing of the commercial plates silica gel and hand made plates from the suspension of silica gel in salt solution; measuring of the absolute concentration by AAS; study of the modified silica gel structure.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 15, 371-376 (2002). TLC of 24 amino acids (Gly, Hyd, Ala, n-But, Ser, Pro, Val, Thr, Cyst, Leu, Ile, n-Leu, Met, Tyr, b-Phe, Trp, DOPA, Cys, Orn, Lys, His, Arg, Asp, Glu) on untreated and on triaryl phosphate (TAP)-impregnated talc, starch, silica gel and alumina with dimethyl sulfoxide - 1 M HCl 1:1. Detection with a 0.2% solution of ninhydrin in acetone.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 19, 313-318 (2006). A new bonded RP-18 sintered silica gel plate for use in reversed-phase planar electrochromatography (PEC) has been prepared by fusing a mixture of silica gel and glass powder then reaction with octadecyltrichlorosilane. The plates have good chromatographic characteristics and good mechanical stability, and can be regenerated by soaking in acetone. TLC and PEC of p-aminoazobenzene, azobenzene, p-hydroxyazobenzene, Sudan II, and Sudan III with acetonitrile - water 17:3.
J. AOAC Int. 78, 1141-1144 (1995). TLC of ivermectin after purification and derivatization with trifluoroacetic anhydride on silica with chloroform - ethyl acetate 3:1. Detection after air-drying and dipping in a tank containing 10% paraffin in n-hexane under UV 366 nm. Ivermectin appears as 2 blue spots, one of which is of much higher intensity than the other. The method allows detection of residues in swine and cattle meat, liver, and fat at levels as low as 5 µg/kg.
CBS 100, 9 (2008). The drying step contributes significantly to the overall experimental variability of the TLC system. Comparison of different drying procedures demonstrated that homogenous, rapid and heatless drying by the automatic developing chamber ADC 2 reduced the overall standard deviation by up to a factor of 3 compared to manual use of a hair dryer.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 24, 181-187 (2011). Study of the TLC separation of polar and ionic substances in carbon dioxide and ammonia atmospheres on silica gel plates with reduced moisture content by single and multiple development with countercurrent drying. The possibility of simple gradient separation by passage of polar vapor was shown. TLC of a six-dye and a two-dye sample on silica gel with toluene. The technique and a special apparatus is described. The active gas flow over the adsorbent layer has several advantages for the separation of polar ionic substances: activation of the adsorbent, stabilization of the mobile phase pH and ionic strength, saturation of the adsorbent with mobile phase, evaporation of the mobile phase and creating gradients is possible by simple passage of gases in one or other direction over the adsorbent layer.
