Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Selected application: lower alcohols, tryptophan enantiomers, gold and platinum. J. Chromatogr. A 746, 261-268 (1996). TLC of lower alcohols on cellulose with butanol - NH3 30 % 1:1. Detection by spraying with 5% NiSO4. TLC of tryptophan enantiomers on cellulose with 1M NaCl and 40 mM a-cyclodextrin solution at 7°C. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor. TLC of gold and platinum on cellulose with 2.5 M HCl. Detection by spraying with 1M Na2S. Quantification by videodensitometry. Comparison with previous TLC method.
Chromatographia 53 (5/6), 321-322 (2001). TLC on silica gel with toluene - acetone - methanol - NH3 50:30:5:1. Quantitation by slit scanning densitometry at 312 nm and video densitometry at 366 nm. Comparison of the results obtained by the two methods.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 17, 164-168 (2004). HPTLC of flupirtine maleate on silica gel with ethyl acetate - methanol - 25 % ammonia 17:2:1 in a saturated developing chamber. Then the developed plate must be dipped for 2 s in 1:3 paraffin - hexane. Dipping increases the fluorescence tenfold and preserves the fluorescence stability for hours. Presentation of a new formula for transforming fluorescence measurements in accordance with Kubelka-Munk theory. The fluorescence signals, the absorption signals, and data from a selected reference are combined in one expression. Only diode-array techniques can measure all the required data simultaneously. The fluorescence calibration curve was linear over the range 300 to 5000 ng per spot.
J. Chromatogr. 405, 203-211 (1987). Description of a new method for visualizing TL chromatograms by means of liquid crystal detectors. Mapping the chromatograms by transferring the organic substances from the plates to liquid crystal layers. Demonstration of the usefulness of the detectors for pesticides.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 10, 225-228 (1997). TLC of test dye mixtures on silica. Documentation by combination of computer, scanner, inexpensive printer, color ink-jet printer, and a digital color thermal printer resulting in a very rapid, very inexpensive, and accurate documentation of TLC separations in the form of monochrome or color images.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 5, 1583-1595 (1982). TLC of amino acids, multicomponent drugs, e.g. amidazophen, ascorbic acid, pernovin with 0.4M sodium citrate buffer pH 4.2. Detection with ninhydrin. Variation coefficient 3-4 %, reproducibility <1 %.
J. Chromatogr. 280, 15-22 (1983). Optimum conditions to maximize the observed resolution and signal-to-noise ratio of scanning densitometer for high-performance thin-layer chromatography are described.
Talanta 34, 183-1 89 (1987). Discussion of analytical possibilities and specific features of a variation of TLC with mobile phases of low volatility (organic liquids or melts of organic Solids). Postulated: better reproducibility of separation conditions, more consistent Rf values.
