The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

OPLC of quinoline yellow, sunset yellow, cochineal red A, indigo carmine, tartrazine, amaranth, erythrozine, on silica with mixed ternary phases as eluent. Detection by densitometry. For quantification the following mobile phases were chosen as the best: NH3 - methanol - ethyl acetate 1:3:6 and NH3 - ethyl methyl ketone - butanol 2:3:5. Densitometry.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 17, 444-448 (2004). TLC of 16 naphthalimide dyes, 17 benzanthrone dyes, 20 triazine dyes, and 17 fluorescent brighteners on (mainly) silica gel with n-heptane - acetone 1:1 and 3:1, chloroform - methanol 1:1 and 2:1, n-heptane - benzene - chloroform 3:2:1, n-heptane - chloroform - acetone 2:2:1, n-butanol - pyridine - 25 % ammonia 1:1:1, chloroform - methanol - 25 % ammonia 11:5:1, n-propanol - 25 % ammonia 1:1 and 2:1, n-butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:5. Quantitative determination by UV-scanning densitometry.
Food Chemistry 113, 640-644 (2009). HPTLC of curcumin (1), demethoxycurcumin (2), and bisdemethoxycurcumin (3) from the rhizomes of Curcuma longa on silica gel with chloroform – methanol 24:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 425 nm. The hRf values of (1), (2), and (3) were 66, 48, and 30, respectively. Selectivity regarding matrix was given. Recovery was 98.7 % for (1), 96.3 % for (2), and 97.2 % for (3). The limit of detection for (1), (2), and (3) was 0.1 µg/spot. The linear regression equation was y=4447.26 + 61.993X for (1), y=1089.881 + 70.003X for (2), and y=2611.84 + 51.565X for (3).
Braz. Arch. Biol. Technol. 58, 869-876 (2015). HPTLC of a yellow pigment from Streptomyces griseoaurantiacus JUACT 01 isolated from soil on silica gel with methanol - hexane 7:3. The hRF value for the yellow pigment was 78. Recovery by preparative TLC was found to be 72 %.
J.of Natural Products 51, 713-718 (1988). TLC of pterin-6-carboxylic acid, xanthopterin, isoxanthopterin, biopterin, 6-hydroxymethylpterin and guanine on cellulose with 90% formic acid - methanol - conc. HCl 80:15:5, 90% formic acid - water 4:1, 0.1% NaOH - water 4:1 and NH3 (28%).
TLC of carotenoides on silica with toluene – ethyl acetate 1:1. TLC of flavonoids on silica with butanol – acetone – acetic acid – water 7:7:2:4.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 22, 813-818 (1994). TLC of cyanidin-3-glucoside, peonidin-3-glucoside, coumaroyl ester of cyanidin-3-glucoside on silica with chloroform -formic acid - acetic acid 9:1:1, benzene - ethyl acetate 17:1. Visualization by spraying with bromocresol green.
