Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Anal. Addict. Misused Drugs, Ed. by J.A.D. Adamovics: New York, N.Y. 221-265 (1995). A review with 128 references on screening techniques for drugs of abuse.
A comparison of the Hungarian and the European Pharmacopoeias.) (Hungarian). Acta Pharmaceutica Hungarica 65, 167-173 (1995). The role of TLC has been enhanced in pharmacopoeial analyses relative to its position in analyses generally. So it has become an outstanding method in both Hungarian and European Pharmacopoeias. More than 400 purity control prescriptions of the monographs evaluated, the limiting tests classified and interpreted by the authors pointing out the similarities and differences. A review with 400 references on pharmaceutical analysis by TLC.
J. Chromatogr. A 815, 31-39 (1998). A review with 76 references on the development of TLC as well as other chromatographic methods for the determination of toxins in maize and maize-based foods, involving GC, HPLC and HPLC-MS methods.
J. Liq. Chrom. & Rel. Technol. 25, 2351-2386 (2002). The preparative layer chromatography discussed in the review has been presented to facilitate the choice of the most effective, selective, cheap, and simplest method for separation and isolation of small quantities of some mixture components. Possibilities and applications of very simple sandwich chambers and forced-flow and continuous planar chromatography are discussed. Numerous application examples are cited. The different chapters are: Introduction, general considerations (goals; methods and modes of mobile phase flow; sampling; adsorbents; sample solubility and solvents; detection; special modes of development); applications of preparative layer chromatography (alkaloids; phenolic compounds; terpenes; sterols, taxoids, guaianolides, and phthalides; lipids, fatty acids, and gangliosides; various compounds). 155 references from the last 15 years.
John Wiley and Sons, New York, N.Y. (1985). Proceedings of the "Third Biennial Symposium on TLC", Parsippany, N.J. 1982 (:). Contributions ranging from the description of new, home-made apparatus to routine applications of TLC. 395 pp
Marcel Dekker, Inc. (Chromatographic Sciences Series Volume 81) 499 p, $ 195 (1999). Fourth edition, divided into Part I - General Practices of TLC (13 chapters), and Part II - Application of TLC to different compound types (10 chapters). Update to previous editions.
B. Fried, R. Toledo (Eds): The biology of echinostomes. Springer 2009. Chapter 10. Review on TLC and HPTLC for qualitative and quantitative determination of lipids, amino acids, carbohydrates and pigments in echinostomes. the goal of this work was to better understand the chemical composition of larval and adult echinostomes and of the host tissues infected by these digeneans.
Part A: Fundamentals and techniques; Part B; Applications. Elsevier Science Publishers, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. (1993) ISBN 0-4444-88404-1, Chapter "Planar chromatography" by Sz. Nyiredy (41 pages with 137 references up to 1990) including general TLC, TLC/in-situ Raman, TLC/FTIR, TLC/MS; discussion of trends in planar chromatography.
