Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Anal. Chem. 80, 4253-4267 (2008). This review covers the literature of TLC and HPTLC found by computer-assisted searching in Chem. Abstr. and the ISI Web of Science from November 1 2005 to November 1 2007 augmented by Analytical Abstracts and the following journals: J. Chromatogr. A and B, J. Chromatogr. Sci., Chromatographia, Anal. Chem., J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol., J. AOAC Int., J. Planar Chromatogr., Acta Chromatographica, books, and reviews with the following chapters (number of citations): history (22), theory and fundamental studies (19); chromatographic systems (28); apparatus and techniques (32); detection and identification (46): chemical detection, biological detection, TLC/mass spectrometry, TLC coupled with other spectrometric methods; quantitative analysis (56): technique and instruments as well as applications; preparative layer chromatography (4); radiochromatography (6).
Advances in Chromatography 49, 401-429 (2011). Review on TLC and HPTLC for qualitative and quantitative determination of lipids, amino acids, carbohydrates, drugs, steroids, gangliosides, glycosides, pigments, phenols, bile acids, and oligosaccharides in human and animal samples matrices. This chapter is an update of a review article by the same authors on TLC in biological analysis that covered the literature through 2004. The sections describe the steps of biological sample analysis by TLC and HPTLC.
Cent. Eur. J. Chem. 12(4), 427-452 (2014). This review summarizes and discussed the most important advances in planar chromatography published between November 1, 2011 and November 1, 2013. Included are an introduction to the current status of the field; student experiments, books, and reviews; theory and fundamental studies; apparatus and techniques for sample preparation, sample application, plate development; detection and identification of separated zones (chemical and biological detection, TLC-MS and TLC coupled with other spectrometric methods); techniques and instruments for quantitative analysis; preparative layer chromatography; thin-layer radiochromatography. The review features numerous applications on various substances and sample matrices and a comprehensive list of 250 references.
Trends Anal. Chem. 78, 84-94 (2016). Review on clean-up and recent advances in analysis of biogenic amines (BAs) in human body and dairy products of foodstuffs. TLC coupled with mass espectrometry was described as a common analytical technique used for analysis of BAs. Commonly used derivatizing reagents for chromatographic analysis of BAs were also described.
Trends Anal. Chem. 85, 47-56 (2016). Sunset Yellow FCF (E110) is an azo dye and is widely used in the food industry as synthetic food dye. Its determination in food and beverages is important because of the suspected health issues for humans. This review described the application of analytical techniques for the determination of Sunset Yellow FCF, including the use of water-methanol solutions of beta-cyclodextrine as mobile phase and polyamide sorbents as stationary phase to replace organic solvents in TLC systems.
J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol. 40, 259-281 (2017). Research communication on chromatographic properties of 18 colorants including amaranth, black PN, bromophenol blue, bromocresol green, bromocresol purple, bromothymol blue, carmine, dimethyl yellow, erythrosine, fluorescein, methyl red, naphthalene black, patent blue, phenol red, Sudan II, Sudan III, Sudan IV, and p-xylenol blue. The paper presents a comprehensive retention database for designing 1D and 2D planar separations systems.
A review. Food Chem. 254, 377-389 (2018). Review of extraction and purification methods for Lycium barbarum polysaccharides, including chemical characterization and evaluation of hypoglycaemic and hypolipidaemic effects. HPTLC methods were described to determine monosaccharide composition and map the glycidic component of glycoconjugates.
J. AOAC Int. 101, 905-913 (2018). Review of the most important advances in the field of planar chromatography between November 1, 2015 and November 1, 2017, including student experiments and reviews, chromatographic systems, apparatus and techniques. Selected applications were well described for each section.
