Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Microwave assisted synthesis of berberrubine and its assessment as fluorescent chemosensor for alkanes. Tetrahedron. 71, 6148-6154 (2015). HPTLC of berberrubine and mixtures with known proportions of alkanes with different number of C atoms on silica gel with n-heptane over 30 mm migration distance, followed by heating at 65 °C for 30 min. Quantitation of non-absorbing alkanes by fluorescence determination at UV 365/>400 nm.
J. Chromatogr. Sci. 21, 385-388 (1983). HPTLC of anthracene, benzo(a)anthracene, fluorene, perylene, phenanthrene on RP-18. Detection by UV. Fluorometry.
J. Chromatogr. Sci. 38 (11), 512-514 (2000). TLC on berberine impregnated silica gel with hexane (9 min) and then with dichloromethane (4 min), or with hexane. Detection by densitometry. Investigation of the influence of sample load and developing time on the separation. Discussion of the possibility of using the method for separation and detection of gas oil for hydrocarbon - type determination.
Anal. Chem. 72, 1759-1766 (2000). TLC of n-alkanes on silica gel and on berberine sulfate and 2,4,5,7-tetranitro-9-fluorenone impregnated silica gel (impregnation with a methanolic solution of 2 - 6 mg/100 ml of the corresponding compound for 20 s). Developed with n-hexane. Detection by densitometry at 365 nm. - An ion - molecule interaction between alkanes and berberine sulfate is considered as being responsible for the enhancement of fluorescence produced by alkanes.
J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol. 41, 315-323 (2018). HPTLC of three types of macrocyclic compounds, i.e. (1) cyclodextrins, (2) calixarenes and (3) macrocyclic antibiotics, on silica gel or RP-18 with different compositions of water – organic liquids (methanol, ethanol, acetonitrile). Detection of (1) on silica gel with a 1:1 mixture of 10 % α-naphthol in ethanol and 10 % sulfuric acid in water, followed by heating at 120 °C for 5-10 min; and on RP18 W by spraying with a 25 % methanolic solution of sulfuric acid, followed by heating at 120 °C for 5-10 min. Detection of (2) by spraying with 20 % aqueous solution of perchloric acid, followed by heating at 120 °C for 5 min. A comprehensive retention data set was obtained for fast selection of mobile phase compositions.
Anal. Chem. 60, 564-508 (1988). TLC of phenanthrene, naphthalene, fluoranthene, triphenylene on silica with n-hexane. Visualization under UV after submerging in liquid nitrogen.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 3, 24-33 (1990). Method for the estimation of partition coefficients of both neutral and basic PAH. RP-TLC of 63 compounds on C-18 and KC 18-bonded silica with mixtures of methanol – deionized water or methanol – 0.063 M phosphate buffer (pH = 7). RM data may be predicted from structural descriptors, such as molecular connectivities and calculated partition coefficients.
Dünnschicht-Chromatographie InCom Sonderband 1996, 157-165. HPTLC of benzo[g,h,i]perylene, indeno[1,2,3]pyrene, benzo[a]pyrene, benzo[b]fluoroanthene, benzo[k]fluoroanthene and fluoroanthene on caffeine-impregnated silica prewashed with dichloromethane, precooled for 30 min at -20 °C, with dichloromethane at -20 °C. After removal of the eluent the plates are dipped for 2 s into a solution of paraffin (low viscosity)/n-hexane 1:2 and dried again (for stabilization and intensification of the inherent fluorescence of the PAH). Quantification by densitometry.
