The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

  • Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
  • Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
  • Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
  • Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

Applicability of surfactant-modified mobile phases in thin-layer chromatography of transition metal cations
      A. MOHAMMAD*, V. AGRAWAL, (Anal. Res. Lab., Dept. of Applied Chem., Fac. of Eng., Aligarh Muslim Univ., Aligarh 202002, India)

      J. Planar Chromatogr. 13, 210-216 (2000). TLC of fifteen metal ions on silica gel with solutions of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as mobile phase. (1:2 CTAB-ethanol) - water 1:99 was identified as the best mobile phase for rapid separation of Zn, Cd, Co, and Hg. Poly(ethylene glycol) as impregnator for silica gel in salting-out thin-layer chromatography of some Co(III) complexes
      V. ZIVKOVIC-RADOVANOVIC, G. VUCKOVIC* (*Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, P.O. Box 158, 11001 Beograd, Serbia and Montenegro, gordanav@chem.bg.ac.yu)

Chromatographia 62 (1-2), 91-97 (2005). Silica gel impregnation with polyethylene glycol of different molecular mass (400, 1000, 1540, 4000, and 5500) was investigated for salting-out thin-layer chromatography of 15 mixed aminocarboxylato Co(III) complexes using eight ammonium sulphate solutions as mobile phases. Regularities established earlier for non-impregnated adsorbents are also valid in this work. Polyethylene glycol of high molecular mass increases the hydrophobicity of the adsorbent. Positive linear dependence of RM values and of salting-out efficiency on average polyethylene glycol molecular mass was usually observed. In contrast with non-impregnated silica gel, separation was achieved between complexes with the smallest hydrocarbon groups.
