      Simultaneous determination of atenolol and nitrendipine in pharmaceutical dosage forms by HPTLC

Detection and quantification by densitometry at 233 nm. The linearity range was 4-10 µg and 1.6-4.0 µg per spot and the percentage recoveries were 101.10% and 98.43% for atenolol and nitrendipine, respectively. New simple, precise, accurate, and rapid TLC procedure.

      Application of videodensitometric and classical densitometric HPTLC for quantification of fluoroquinolone derivatives in pure and tablet form

Detection and quantitation by videodensitometry at 254 nm and by classical densitometry at the wavelength of maximum absorption of the drugs determined. Calibration plots in the range 0.1 to 0.6 µg/µl were linear for all analytes with good correlation coefficients (r from 0.992 to 0.998), the precision, expressed as RSD, was between 7.56 and 10.08. The mean recoveries of the tree antibiotics from tablets ranged from 97.46 to 102.87%.
