The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Detection by spraying with 5 % cupric acetate in 15 % aqueous phosphoric acid and heating at 110 °C for 10 minutes. Fluorometry at 366 nm. Sensitivity 1-10 ng.
TLC on silica with chloroform - ethanol 15:1. Determination by densitometry at 274 nm. Detection limit 100 ng.
J. Chromatogr. 428, 196-202 (1988). HPTLC of chloroquine on silica with 4% n-butylamine in methyl tert. -butyl ether. Detection under UV. Estimation by comparison of the spot fluorescence intensity with standards. Comparison of the results with those from HPLC.

HPTLC of gangliosides on silica using OPLC technique with a gradient composed from three isocratic steps. 1) For ganglioside mapping (OPLC) with a) chloroform - methanol 95:5, b) chloroform - methanol - water 65:25:3, c) chloroform - methanol - 0.25 % KCl/H2O 55:36:9. Visualization with resorcinol-HCl reagent and heating. 2) For wide lipid mapping (multi development) with a) propanol - methyl acetate - chloroform - methanol - ethanol 43 mM KCl 23:23:29:11:10:12, b) hexane - methyl acetate - toluene - chloroform 300:54:25:25, c) carbon tetrachloride. Visualization by spraying with phosphomolibdic acid or CuSO4; densitometry by absorbance at 525, 540 and 546 nm.
Biomed. Chromatogr. 6, 67-71 (1992). TLC of anti-ganglioside antibodies on silica with chloroform - methanol - 0.02% aqueous CaCl2 60:40:9. Detection by spraying with resorcinol - hydrochloric acid solution and heating at 110°C for 15 min. Transfer of gangliosides from the layer to hydrophobic polyvinylidene difluoride membranes, which is suitable for immunostaining.
Jap. J. Toxicol. Environ. Health 40, 101-110 (1994). TLC of 46 common pesticides in serum and gastric lavage solutions on silica with 4 developing systems and 3 detection methods. Detection of 24 pesticides at < 500 ng by viewing under UV radiation, of 12 ones by spraying with Dragendorff's reagent. Study of the recoveries by using spiked serum samples.
Biomed. Chromatogr. 10, 225-227 (1996). TLC on silica with chloroform - acetone - ethyl acetate - methanol 136:64:4:1. Detection by spraying with ethylenediamine - methanol - potassium ferricyanide (1.5%) 1:3:1, incubating for 5 min at 60°C and in the dark at room temperature for 15 min. Quantification by fluoro densitometry at 415/>485 nm.
J. Chromatogr. B 700, 283-285 (1997). TLC on RP-18 silica gel with methanol - water 4:1. Quantitation by fluorodensitometry at 313/>490 nm. Validation of the procedure by standard spiking. Comparison with HPLC.
