The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Viszalization by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating. Discussion of the influence of the TLC conditions on the separation.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 29, 384-385 (1998). TLC on silica gel with toluene - dichloromethane - acetic acid 6:3:1. Quantitation by densitometry at 440 nm. Precision of rhein 2.56% (n=5), of emodin 2.13% (n=5). Recovery of rhein 97.44 ± 0.7% (n=5), of emodin 96.46 ± 1.13% (n=5).

Identification of the 4 components by comparison with the standards. Discussion of using the procedure for simultaneous determination of the 4 components.

Detection 1) by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 110°C for 10 min, 2) 5% vanillin in sulfuric acid and heating at 105°C for 5 min, 3) by exposure to iodine vapors. Identification by finger print technique. Quantitation of camphora by HPLC.
