Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Pharmazie 61, 670-672 (2006). TLC of swertisin and 2’’-O-rhamnosylswertisin on silica gel with chloroform - methanol 7:3 and 17:3. Detection under UV light at 254 nm or by spraying with 2 % iron(III) chloride solution in ethanol. The compounds were identified by direct comparison with authentic samples.
59th Indian Pharmaceutical congress C-305, 297, (2007). Phytoconstituents of mature and immature tubers of Ipomoea mauritiana (methanolic and aqueous extracts) have been studied. HPTLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - formic acid 6:3:1. Detection by spraying with vanilin - sulphuric acid reagent. Densitometric evaluation at 365 nm. Mature tubers were found to contain higher concentration of phytoconstiuents than immature tubers.
Indian Drugs 44(8), 636 (2007). HPTLC of charantin in chloroform extracts of herbal formulations on silica gel with benzene - methanol 4:1. Detection by spraying with 10 % alcoholic sulphuric acid and heating at 130 °C for 2 min. Quantitative determination by densitometry at 536 nm. The hRf of charantin was 32. Linearity was between 20 and 600 ng/mL. Recovery was 98.9 %
Phytochem. Anal. 19, 244-250 (2007). HPTLC of taraxerol in Clitoria ternatea on silica gel with hexane - ethyl acetate 4:1. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde reagent. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 420 nm. The hRf value of taraxerol was 53 and selectivity regarding the matrix was given. Linearity was between 100 and 1200 ng of taraxerol. Recovery values were between 99.6 and 99.7 %. The limit of detection and quantification for taraxerol was 31 and 105 ng/spot, respectively.
Indian Drugs 45 (7), 536 - 541 (2008). Chyawanprash contains many phytoconstituents, out of which gallic acid, catechin, epicatechin are considered to be responsible for the antioxidant activity and piperine is responsible for the bioavailability enhancing effect. HPTLC with toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid - ethanol 60:40:3:4. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm. The hRf values of epicatechin, catechin, gallic acid, and piperine were 13, 32, 44, and 82 respectively. Recovery was 99.0 % for epicatechin, 96.1 % for catechin, 102.5 % for gallic acid and 100.6 % for piperine in Chyawanprash. The results obtained were compared with similar formulations available in the market employing tests for identification and purity determination. The developed method may be considered as an additional tool for quality control of Chyawanprash.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 21, 263-265 (2008). HPTLC of nimbolide on silica gel in a twin trough chamber with ethyl acetate - hexane 1:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm. The limits of detection and quantification were 3.3 and 1.0 µg/spot, respectively.
