Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Indian Drugs 43 (12), 989-982 (2006). HPTLC of lupeol in a methanolic extract of powdered Vernonia cinerea L. on silica gel with dichloromethane - toluene - acetone - methanol 30:50:5:3. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde reagent. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 581 nm. The concentration of lupeol in Vernonia cinerea L. was found to be 2.01 µg. The method was validated and can be used for routine quality control of Vernonia cinerea L. including quantitation of lupeol.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 20, 183-187 (2007). HPTLC of stigmasterol on silica gel prewashed with methanol in a saturated twin-trough chamber with chloroform - ethanol - formic acid 98:2:1. Detection by dipping in a 5 % methanolic sulfuric acid solution and heating at 105 °C for 5 min. Quantitation by scanning at 580 nm. Also TLC of dl-apha-tocopherol acetate on silica gel with cyclohexane - diethylether 9:1. Scanning at 200 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 20, 447-450 (2007). HPTLC of piperine on silica gel, prewashed with methanol, with hexane - acetone 13:7 in a twin-trough chamber with chamber saturation for 5 min. Quantification by densitometry at 340 nm in absorbance mode.
J. of Pharm. Biomed. Anal. 44 (3), 812-817 (2007). HPTLC of extracts of Notopterygium incisum Ting ex H.T. Chang (or Notopterygium forbesii Boiss) root and rhizome, and marker compounds isoimperatorin, notopterol and bergapten. The authentication of rhizoma et radix Notopterygii was achieved by comparing the colors and Rf values of the bands in TLC fingerprints with those of the marker compounds. The HPLC fingerprints of 16 batches of herbal samples from different regions of China showed similar chromatographic patterns. Five peaks were selected as characteristic peaks, and three of these were identified by using LC-MS-MS techniques.
& Perry. J. AOAC Int. 91, 1169-1173 (2008). HPTLC of gallic acid, caffeic acid, and syringic acid (in clove) on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 8:2:1 in a twin-trough chamber. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 280 nm.
Chromatographia 69 (5-6), 597-599 (2009). TLC of karanjin in the seeds of Pongamia pinnata on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate 7:3. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 260 nm. The limit of detection was 100 ng, linearity was 50 - 300 ng. Four samples of P. pinnata from different geographical locations were screened for their karanjin content.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. 28 (3), 470-471 (2008). TLC of glucocorticoid in TCM formulations extracted with chloroform – methanol 9:1 on silica gel with dichloromethane – diethyl ether – methanol – water 385:60:15:2. Detection by spraying with a solution of tetrazolium blue chloride. Successful separation and identification of five glucocorticoids.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. 28 (5), 732-734 (2008). TLC of Alternanthera philoxeroides extracts on silica gel with chloroform – methanol 40:1. The method is suitable for the quality control of the TCM drug and its formulations.
