The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Densitometry at 277 nm for quantitative evaluation. The method was linear in the range of 10 and 1000 ng/mL, with an average recovery of 101.4 %. The method was found suitable for routine quality check-up of Emblica officinalis.

The hRf value of camptothecin was 22. Linearity was between 0.5 and 5 ng/zone. All commercial samples of the plant had a similar fingerprint profile.
