Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Phytochem. Anal. 20, 154-158 (2009). TLC of the purgative constituents of rhubarb (sennoside A and sennoside B) on silica gel with 1-propanol - ethyl acetate - water - acetic acid 40:40:30:1. After drying detection by spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid and heating. For the eastern blotting assay the developed TLC plate was dried and sprayed with isopropanol - methanol - water 1:4:16. Transfer by using a PVDF membrane sheet for further treatment.
Chromatographia 65 (3-4), 239-243 (2007). TLC of solasodine in various Solanum species on silica gel with a developing solvent containing an organic acid to form ion pair complexes of solasodine with the acid dye. The resulting colored complex was quantified by absorbance measurement at 461 nm. Linearity was between 79 and 495 ng/spot with a correlation coefficient of 0.995. The method eliminates post derivatization steps and the problem of background interference. Application of the method to determine solasodine content in various herb samples, herb extract and their formulations showed an accuracy of 98.5 ± 2.8 % without matrix interference.
Pharmazie 64, 415-416 (2009). TLC of the pyrrolizidine alkaloid lycopsamine and the guaianolide cumambrin B on silica gel with dichloromethane - methanol - 25 % ammonia 85:14:1. Detection see A. R. Mattocks, Detection of pyrrolizidine alkaloids on thin-layer chromatograms, J. Chromatogr. 27, 505-508 (1967).
Abstract No. F-299, 61st IPC (2009). HPTLC of herbal powder and polyherbal formulation containing Andrographis paniculata on silica gel with benzene - ethyl acetate 1:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 222 nm. The calibration curve for andrographolide was linear in the range of 360-660 ng/band.
Chinese J. Phram. Anal. 27 (9), 1311-1313 (2007). TLC of drug extracts on silica gel with trichloromethane – methanol – water 12:8:1. Detection by spraying with 5 % vanillin – sulfuric acid reagent and evaluation in daylight and under UV light.
Abstract No. 9185, IHCB (2009). HPTLC of hydro alcoholic extracts of Berberis aristata on silica gel with benzene - ethyl acetate - diethyl amine 6:3:1. Detection by spraying with AlCl3 reagent (for estimation of flavonoids) or with Folin Ciocalteu reagent (for total phenolic content). The fingerprint profile was optimized using two different mobile phases: n-butanol - acetic acid - water 14:1:5 and n-propanol - formic acid - water 90:1:9. The extract showed 6 different spots and was found to contain 13.5 % w/w of berberin.
Indian Drugs 46(6), 477-482 (2009). HPTLC of extracts of Cassia auriculata, C. obtusifolia, and C. uniflora and of chrysophanol and emodin on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 10:3:1. Detection under UV 254 nm. Based on the fingerprint and by comparison with chemical markers identification of each species was possible.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 23, 190-192 (2010). After sample application as bands and fully off-line OPLC separation followed by drying, the separated bands were compressed bilaterally, in parallel, perpendicular to the direction of development, by use of a strong eluent and capillary driven chromatography. To introduce the eluent for band compression onto the layer a simple manual tool equipped with parallel foam strips was constructed. OPLC of a black tea leaf extract and caffeine, theophylline, and theobromine on silica gel (prewashed with acetonitrile - water 17:3) with toluene - acetic acid 3:2. Quantitative determination by densitometry at 280 nm. After band compression 20 ng/zone theophyllin and theobromine could be detected by densitometry in the xanthine standard mixture at a loading of 20 µg/10 mm. These compounds were not visible in the original, uncompressed chromatogram.
