The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

TLC of 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,8,4'-pentamethoxy flavone, 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,8,3',4'-hexamethoxy flavone and 5,3'-dihydroxy-3,6,7,8,4'-pentamethoxy flavone on polyamide and silica with petrol ether (10-140°C) - toluene - butanol - methanol 12:6:1:1, toluene - dioxane - acetic acid 18:5:1. Phytochemistry 28, 575-577 (1989). TLC separation of three saponins from the ethanolic extract of the fruits on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 13:7:2. Visualization by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid followed by heating.
Scientia Pharmaceutica 57, 63-67 (1989). TLC of 11,13-dehydro-melitensin- 8(4-hydroxymethylacrylate), onopordopicrin, saloni-tenolide-8-O-(4'-hydroxyisobutyrate) and cnicin with ethyl acetate (2 developments), chloroform - methanol 9:1 and methanol - ethyl acetate 2:8. Detection under UV.
Phytochemistry 28, 455-460 (1989). TLC of S-alk(en)yl-L-cysteine sulfoxides on silica with tetrahydrofuran - pyridine - water - acetic acid 8:15:15:2 or propanol - water - propylacetate - acetic acid - pyridine 120:60:20:4:1. Visualization by spraying with ninhydrin.
Planta Med. 55, 370-384 (1989). TLC of proanthocyanidins on silica with ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 18:1:1 on cellulose with acetic acid - conc.HCL - water 30:3:10 and on cellulose (2D-TLC) with 6% acetic acid and 2-butanol - acetic acid - water 14:1:5. Detection with 0.5% vanillin (in ethanol - water 5:95 - conc. HCl 4:1).

TLC of polar lipids on silica with chloroform – acetone – methanol – formic acid – water 100:40:20:20:8 in the first direction and with acetone – benzene – formic acid – water 200:30:3:10 in the second direction. Visualization by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in methanol.
