The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

General results and isolation of lignin metabolites. J. Agric. Food Chem. 32, 1237-1241 (1984). Separation of pentachlorphenol and metabolites on silica with hexane - ether - formic acid 70:30:4, cyclohexane - acetone 5:2 and chloroform as eluent. Detection and quantification by radioautography.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 34, 429-433 (1986). TLC separation of wax classes (alkanes, aldehydes, alcohols and acids) on silica with CCl4, CHCl3, CHCl3 - EtOH 99:1, CHCl3 - EtOH - acetic acid 98:1:l. Detection by spraying with 3 % CrO3 in sulfuric acid, followed by charring at 120 °C; detection of diketones by UV 254 nm or with spraying with 1 % aqueous Fast Blue solution, of aldehydes by spraying with 1 % aqueous solution of purpald.
J. Microchem. 34, 211-218 (1986). TLC of dimethoate and oxygen analog, dioxathion, fonofos and oxygen analog and oxydemetonmethyl on silica with 2,2,4- trimethylpentane - methylcyclohexane - isoamyl alcohol - paraffin oil - acetone 4:2:2:3:1 and heptane - xylene - benzene - toluene - cyclohexane - methylcyclohexane 1:1:1:1:1:1. Detection by spraying with ammoniacal silver nitrate solution in acetone followed by exposure to long-wave UV after drying at 100 °C for 2-3 min.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 8, 1319-1326 (1985). Separation of Cu, Co, Ni and Zn on TLC plates prepared from soil (100-150 mesh) and CaCO3 15 % using water as eluent for studying the effect of pH, organic matter, etc. on the mobility of trace elements. Detection of Cu: 1 % aq. potassium ferrocyanide solution, of Mn: 1 % ethanolic diphenylcarbazide solution, for Ni and Co: 0.1 % ethanolic dimethyl glyoxime in NH3.
J.A.O.A.C. 70, 123-126 (1987). TLC of cyclopiazonic acid on silica with benzene -methanol - acetic acid 90:7:5. Detection by spraying with 1 % p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in ethanol - HCl 3:1. TLC of aflatoxin on silica with ethyl ether - methanol - water 96:3:1. And TLC of patulin and griseofiulvin on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - 90 % formic acid 5:4:1. Detection under DV and then spraying with 0.5 % 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrazone and heating at 130 dwgr. C.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 15, 647-652 (1987). Two-dimensional TLC on polyamide with water - n-butanol - acetone - 1,4-dioxane 70:15:10:5 and benzene - MEK - methanol - water 55:22:20:3. Detection by spraying with 0.1 % aminoethyl - diphenylborate in methanol - water 1:1. TLC of O-glucosides after acid hydrolysis (with 6 % HCl and heating for 40 min. at 100°C) on cellulose with ethyl acetate - pyridine - water 12:5:4.

Radiochemicals and plant methanol extracts incubated for 2 h were examined by TLC on silica with chloroform - ether - acetic acid 40:9:1 (for bromoxynil) and chloroform - cyclohexane - acetic acid 9:9:2 (for pentachlorophenol).
