The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Postchromatographic derivatization by dipping into 0.05% methanolic solution of 6-(p-toluidino)-2-naphtalene-sulfonic acid (potassium salt) and then under UV 365 nm. HPTLC of glyceryl monodiricinolate on silica with ethyl acetate - dichloromethane - methanol - formic acid 13:6:1:0.1. Post-chromatographic derivatization by dipping into 3% ethanolic solution of molybdato phosphoric acid and heating to 120°C for 15 min.
J. AOAC Int. 72, 735-738 (1989). TLC of monensin on silica with chloroform – methanol – acetone – glycerol 98:60:40:2. Detection by placing the TLC plate facedown on a bioassay dish containing bacillus subtilis spore suspension in a specially prepared plating medium. After incubation and spraying with triphenyltetrazolinum chloride solution measurement of the inhibition zone.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 38, 1035-1038 (1990). TLC of 5 known and one new sesquiterpene lactone (11(S),13-dihydrolactucopicrin) on silica with 6 eluent systems and on silica RP-18 with methanol - water 6:4, acetonitrile - water 5:5 and tetrahydrofuran - water 45:55; detection under UV 254 nm.
(Hungarian). Acta Pharmaceutica Hungarica 61, 146-152 (1991). TLC of alliin on silica with ethanol - propanol - acetic acid - water 2:1:1:1. Detection by spraying with ninhydrin reagent and heating at 110 °C for 5 min. Quantification by densitometry at 490 nm.
Phytochemistry 31, 4125-4128 (1992). TLC of polyphenols from olive oil mill waste waters on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - benzene 3:1:6 and on RP-18 silica with water - acetonitrile 4:1. Detection followed by 3% phosphomolibdic acid in methanol. RP-TLC analysis allowed the identification of catechol, 4-methylcatechol and other related polyphenols.
J. Chromatogr. 609, 407-417 (1992). Eluates from flash and vacuum column chromatography of ginger rhizome monitored by TLC on silica with toluene - methanol 80:5. Detection by spraying with Folin-Ciocalteu reagent.
