Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS

Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.

The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

  • Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
  • Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
  • Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
  • Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

Synthesis and preliminary in vitro evaluation of antitumor nitrosoureido cholesterol derivatives
      L. ELKIHEL, M. GELIN, Y. LETOURNEUX, (Lab. de Génie Protéique, Physicochemie des Substances Naturelles, Univ. de la Rochelle, 23 Avenue Albert Einstein, F-17071 La Rochelle Cedex 9, France)

Arzneim.-Forsch./Drug Res. 45 (I), 190-194, (1995). TLC of 12 chloroethyl nitrosourea analogues of cholesterol on silica with dichloromethane, dichloromethane - hexane 7:3, dichloromethane - methanol 49:1. Detection under UV.

      Classification: 16, 32a

Assay and purity control of ticlopidine by thin-layer chromatography
      A. FARINA, A. DOLDO, V. COTICHINE, F.R. GALLO, S. CALANDRA (Lab. di Chim. des Farm., Inst. Superiore di Sanità, Viale Regina Elena, 299-00161 Roma, Italy)

      J. Planar Chromatogr. 7, 386-388 (1994). HPTLC of ticlopidine (T), N-[ß-(2-thienyl)ethyl]-2-chlorobenzylamine (ßT), and 2-chlorobenzylamine (OCBAM) on silica with the upper phase of butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:5. Quantification by densitometry at 212, 237 or 301 nm (absorbance). Detection limits for impurities were 10 - 20 ng. The proposed HPTLC method provides accuracy, reproducibility, and selectivity for the identification and determination of T, OCBAM and ßT; it also enables good resolution of the decomposition products of T.

The significance of thin-layer chromatography in the pharmacopoeal analytics
      P. VOLFORD*, M. TAKACS, (*SOTE, Gyógyszerészeti Kémiai Intézet, H-1092 Budapest, Högyes E. u.9., Hungary)

(A comparison between the Hungaria European Pharmacopoeia). Gyógyszerészet 39, 5-6 (1995). Author point out the special significance of TLC in the pharmacopoeal analytics. The presented data prove that the three main chromatographic techniques are prevailingly used in the European as well as in the Hungarian pharmacopoeias (i.e. in 29% of the paragraphs of the Ph.Hg.VII and in 63% of that of the method: about 90% in both pharmacopoeias. Thus, the frequency of application of the three chromatographic methods in that special analytical field is in succession the following: TLC>>GC>HPLC opposite to the common practice adopted in analytic and drug analytic.
