Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Herba Hungarica 30, 17-22 (1991). TLC of tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol on silica with hexane – ether 8:2. Detection by spraying with 0.5% o-dianizidine-tetra-chloride sodium.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 5, 239-245 (1992). Study of the HPTLC behavior of closely related diethanolamines on silica developed with 4 binary eluents and evaluation of the effect of solute - solvent association using the thermodynamically formulated Oscik criterion.
Phytochemica Analysis 3, 160-164 (1992). TLC of norsesquiterpenes of bracken fern extracts on silica with dichloromethane - acetone 3:7. Detection under UV. Isolation of pterosin B by prep. TLC with the conditions indicated above. Elution of the compound from the plate with ethyl acetate. See also M. Saito et al., Phytochemistry 28, 1605-1611 (1989).
J. Chromatogr. 579, 376-381 (1992). (1992). TLC of 5-(N,N-hexamethylene)amiloride on silica with tetrahydrofuran - 3M NH3 9:1. Quantification by fluoro densitometry at 380 nm. Detection limit 6x10-7 M.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 23, 633-634 (1992). TLC of cinnamyl aldehyde on silica with petrol ether - ethyl acetate 85:15. Detection under UV 254 nm and by spraying with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. Quantification by spectrophotometry at 286 nm.
Phytochemistry 32, 1543-1547 (1993). HPTLC of triterpenoid saponins on silica with butanol - acetic acid - water 12:3:5. Detection with 0.1% Ce(SO4)2 in 2 N sulfuric acid. Analysis of the sapogenins after hydrolysis of the saponins by HPTLC with chloroform - ethyl acetate 1:1 and of the sugars with butanol - 2-propanol - ethyl acetate - acetic acid - water 35:60:100:35:30. Detection with aniline phthalate.
II. Quantitative aspects: Comparison with liquid chromatography. J. Planar Chromatogr. 5, 152-156 (1992). TLC of tetracycline (base, hydrochloride, lauryl sulfate) on silica impregnated by spraying with 10% EDTA solution adjusted to pH 7.0, 7.7, 8.0 and 8.5, respectively, with sodium hydroxide solution (42%) and using dichloromethane - methanol - water 59:35:6 as mobile phase. Quantification by absorbance at 280 nm. Results obtained by TLC were compared with those obtained by a previously established HPLC method using a poly(styrene - divinylbenzene) stationary phase. Good correlation was obtained (r = 0.9999).
