Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

TLC on silica with a) chloroform - methanol - formic acid 20:6:5; b) ethyl acetate - methanol - water 6:1:3, c) butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:5, d) benzene - acetone 9:1. Detection by spraying with a) 0.2 % bromophenol blue in ethanol, b) with AlCl3 in ethanol, c) with potassium iodobismuthate reagent, d) 1 % vanillin in ethanol - sulfuric acid 200:1. Identification by fingerprint technique.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 15 (6), 36-39 (1995). TLC of rhein, isoemodin and emodin on silica with petrol ether - hexane - ethyl acetate - acetic acid - methanol 15:30:15:1:1. Quantification by densitometry at 435 nm. Detection limit > 40 ng.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 24, 157-164 (1996). TLC of sterols on silica with chloroform - ethyl acetate 9:1. Visualization by spraying with berberine (0.2 % in ethanol) and under UV 366 nm.
Indian Drugs 33 (3), 107-111 (1996). HPTLC of six fluoroquinolones (ciprofloxacin (CPF), enrofloxacin (EF), lomefloxycin (LOF), norfloxacin (NRF), ofloxacin (OFL), and perfloxacin (PEF)) on silica with butanol - ethanol - NH3 20:5:11. Densitometry at 280 nm for CPF, ENF, NRF, PEF, and 285 nm for LOF. The linearity range was found to be 10-150 ng. Rf values were in the range of 0.35 to 0.40. This HPTLC method was comparable with official methods.
