The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

  • Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
  • Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
  • Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
  • Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

      Quantitative TLC/HPTLC determination of neomycins A, B, and C
      W. FUNK*, T. KÜPPER, A. WIRTZ, S. NETZ, (*Fachhochschule Giessen-Friedberg, Fachbereich Techn. Gesundheitswesen, Wiesenstr. 14, Giessen Germany)

Part 1: Chromatographic separation and postchromatographic derivatization. J. Planar Chromatogr. 7, 10-13 (1994). TLC/HPTLC of neomycins A, B, and C on silica with methanol - NH3 25% - acetone - chloroform 7:4:4:1 at 50°C. Postchromatographic derivatization with fluorescamine, stabilization of fluorescence by dipping the developed chromatogram into a solution of dichloromethane - triethanolamine - light liquid paraffin 8:1:1. J. Planar Chromatogr. 7, 221-228 (1994). One and two-dimensional HPTLC of benzophenanthridine alkaloids on silica with benzene - methanol 6:1 and with chloroform - benzene - methanol - formamide 80:100:20:1. Visualization under UV. Quantification by coupling TLC-FAB. The combination of mass spectrometric detection with a chromatographic separation method provides analytical data of equal utility for characterization of this mixture as does capillary electrophoresis, but the higher loadings of material on the TLC plate enable easier identification of the mixture components. Despite the perceived lower reproducibility for TLC, it is shown that reproducibility in Rf and mass spectral data is excellent.
