The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Synthesis of 1-(4'-hydroxy-3'-methoxybenzyl)-7-hydroxy-6-methoxyisoquinoline (cristadine). Acta Chimica 120, 103-105 (1985). TLC study of the total synthesis of a new benzyl isoquinoline alkaloid, cristadine. TLC on silica with a) chloroform - methanol 9:1, b) benzene - methanol 8:2, c) ethyl acetate - methanol - conc. NH3 95:5.:5, d) chloroform - acetone - diethylamine 5:4:1. Detection with cristadine and by UV 254 nm.
(Proposal for a future pharmacopoeia prescription concerning the analysis of "melissae folium".) Fresenius Z. Anal. Chem. 321, 352-354 (1985). TLC separation of citral and citronellal on silica with hexane - ethyl acetate 93:7. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde reagent and heating at 110 °C - (10-15 min) and by UV 365 nm.
TLC of strychnine and brucine on silica with methanol -4 N NH3 9:1 Determination by densitometry at 255 nm for strychnine and 295 nm for brucine.
XXV. Studies on the nucleophilic substitution reactions of 6-o-mesyl-7alpha-chloro(bromo)neopine.) TLC of 6-o-mesyl-7alpha-chloroneopine and 6-o-mesyl-7 alpha -bromoneopine on silica with benzene - methanol 8:2, ethyl acetate - methanol 8:2, chloroform - methanol 9:1. Detection with Dragendorff reagent.
Quantitative HPTLC of silybin - a comparison to quantitative HPLC. GIT Suppl. Chromatographie 3, 4-11 (1987). With the aid of an optimized HPTLC procedure silybin was quantitatively determined after extraction with methanol in the drug cardui mariae, besides Silydianin, Silydristin and Taxifolin. The extraction procedure was simplified and optimized with a view to systematic errors. The statistical comparison of the results with those established by HPLC, shows the equivalence of both analytical methods. Under the aspect of the expenditures (time, personnel, appliances) as well as total operating costs HPTLC turnes to be a most appropriate method for this routine analysis.
J. Liquid Chrom. 9, 3423-3431 (1986). TLC of the B-3 vitamins niacin and niacinamide extracted from capsules or tablets on silica with methanol - benzene - acetone - glacial acetic acid 20:7:5:5. Densitometry by absorbance. Recoveries for niacinamide in vitamin products 96-104 %, of niacin 99-102 %.
(Chinese). Bulletin Chinese Trad. Med. 12, 350-352 (1987) (Zhongyao Tongbao). TLC on silica with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 2:8:1.5. Quantification by densitometry at 365 nm. Detection limit < 1 µg.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. 7, 323-327 (1987) (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi). TLC of acetylcorynoline, 13-epicorynoline, corynoline, 11-epicorynoline, cheilanthifoline, corycavine and protopine on silica with dichloromethane - benzene - ether 5:4:0.5 for acetylcorynoline, and 7:5:2.5 for others. Detection by spraying with Dragendorff’s reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 500 nm.
