The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

TLC on silica with benzene - methanol 8:2, chloroform - methanol 9:1 and chloroform - acetone - diethylamine 5:4:1. Visualization by UV or by Dragendorff reagent. Identified substances: N-demethylneopine, N-demethylneomorphine.
Isolation of (Z)-3,7-dimethyl-2,7-octadien-1-yl propanoate a component of the San Jose scale pheromone, by TLC on silica with hexane - acetone 5:1; visualization with 5 % ethanolic phosphomolybdic acid solution.

V. Danube Symposium Yalta, November 11 -16, 1985. Determination of (-)-ephedrine and (+)-pseudo-ephedrine by TLC on silica. Ninhydrin reagent for color development of spots. Densitometric evaluation of the spots allowed determination of 300 ng of (-)-ephedrine and 1000 ng of (+)-pseudo-ephedrine.
Fresenius Z. Anal. Chem. 322, 513-514 (1985). Proof of enantiomeric purity by TLC of D- and L- (3, 4-dihydroxyphenylalanine) on MN-chiral plates with methanol -water - acetonitrile 5:5:3. Spots are visualized using 0.1 % ninhydrin reagent.
Determination by densitometry.
IV. Determination of germacrone in the essential oil from curcuma wenyujin and c. kwangsinesis by TLC.) TLC of germacrone on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate 93:7. Detection by spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid in ethanol. Quantification by densitometry at 450 nm. Calibration curves linear between 2 and 6 mg.
Rhexifoline content of P. pica. Biochem. Systematics and Ecology 14, 499-506 (1986). TLC of iridoids on silica with chloroform - methanol 6:4. Detection by spraying with a solution of 50 % ethanol - conc. sulfuric acid - p-anisaldehyde 90:10:0.5, and heating at 110 °C for 3-5 minutes. TLC of alkaloids on silica with acetonitrile or chloroform - methanol 1:1. Detection by spraying with iodoplatinic acid.
