The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Pharmacogn. Mag. 14, 45-51 (2018). HPTLC of stigmasterol in Monochoria vaginalis and Monochoria hastata on silica gel with chloroform – methanol 4:1. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde-sulfuric acid reagent, followed by heating at 105 °C for 5 min. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 540 nm. The hRF value for stigmasterol was 30. Linearity was between 1000 and 5000 ng/zone. LOD and LOQ were 80 and 200 ng/zone. The intermediate precision was <3 % (n=3). Average recovery was 99.8 %.
J. AOAC Int. 101, 981-991 (2018). HPTLC of triamcinolone acetonide (1) and econazole (2) on silica gel with ethyl acetate – tetrahydrofuran – ammonia 100:70:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 225 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 77 and 56, respectively. Linearity ranged between 0.2-28.0 μg/zone for (1) and 0.5-55.0 μg/zone for (2). LOD and LOQ were 56 and 170 ng/zone for (1) and 160 and 480 ng/zone for (2), respectively. The intermediate precision was <2 % (n=9). Average recovery was 99.5 % and 99.3 %.
Chem. (FENXI HUAXUE) 12, 455-458 (1984). (Chinese). (Studies on micellar solution as mobile phase in liquid chromatography. I. Use in thin-layer chromatographic separation of drugs). TLC of 33 drugs including sulfanilamides, vitamin B, antipyretics and adrenalines on polyamide with micellar aqueous solutions (SDS). Detection by various staining reagents and by UV.
Part 2: Comparative study on centrifugal layer chromatography (CLC) and SCLC for the separation of furocoumarin isomers. J. High Resol. Chromatogr. 8, 132-134 (1985). Preparative separation of furocoumarin isomers (isobergapten, pimpinellin, bergapten, isopimpinellin, sphondin) on silica containing calcium sulphate hemihydrate with hexane - THF 7:3, hexane - chloroform - THF 63:16:1, dichloromethane. Detection by UV 254 and 366 nm.
J. Nat. Prod. 48, 400- 423 (1985). TLC of 45 different alkaloids isolated from tabernaemontana chippii on silica with toluene -100 % ethanol saturated with NH3 19:1 isopropyl ether -100 % ethanol saturated with NH3 19:1, cyclohexane - chloroform - diethylamine 6:3:1, hexane - MEK - diethylamine 8:1:1 and many other solvent systems. Detection with ceric sulfate/sulfuric acid or with 0.2 M FeCl3 in 35 % perchloric acid. Prior to development, plates exposed to NH3 for 20 minutes.
J. High Resol. Chromatogr. 8, 44-45 (1985). TLC of glycyrrhetinic acid on HPTLC silica, treated with 0.7 % benzene solution of 3-APTS, with butanol - NH3 - ethanol 5:2:1. Detection by UV. In situ densitometry. Detection limit 50 ng.
(Adonis aleppica boiss. Phytochemical investigation, isolation and structural clearing-up of cardenolides.) Dtsch. Apoth. Ztg. 125, 1945-1949(1985). TLC study of cardenolide glycosides from 20 samples on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 80:19:1 or 85:14:1, heptane - ethyl acetate - ethanol - water 15:75:20:4. Detection with Keddes reagent and vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent.
Pharm. (Yaoxue Tongbao) 19, 343-345 (1984). (Chinese) (Compatibility of gentamycin and An Tong Dang injection.) TLC of the mixture of gentamycin and An Tong Dang injection showing that no chemical reaction occurs between them. (An Tong Dang contains aminopyrine and antipyrine).
