The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

Detection under UV 254 nm. Also TLC on silica with ether - hexane - acetic acid (50:50:1) as first eluent and ethyl acetate - isooctane - water - acetic acid 11:5:1:1, upper phase, (for half of separation distance) as second eluent. Identification with standard substances.

J. Shenyang Univ. Pharm (Shenyang Yaoke Daxue Xuebao) 14, 122-123 (1997). TLC on silica gel containing 1% NaOH with toluene - ethyl acetate - methanol 4:2:1. Detection under UV 365 nm. Viszalization by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating. Discussion of the influence of the TLC conditions on the separation.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 20 (1), 18-20 (1998). TLC on silica gel with hexane - ethyl acetate - formic acid 60:20:1. Quantitation by fluorescence quenching and spectrophotometry and comparison of the results.
Planta med. 68, 20-24 (2002). Analytical and preparative TLC of quassinoids (quassin and simalikalactone) on silica gel with diethylether - methanol 9:1. Detection under UV light at 254 and 366 nm and after spraying subsequently with 5 % phosphomolybdic acid and 60 % sulfuric acid in methanol, followed by heating at 120 °C for 10 min.
