The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

Phytochemistry 30, 3395-3400 (1991). TLC of monodesmosidic saponins from Verbascum songaricum on silica with various chloroform - methanol - water mixtures. Detection by spraying with 1% solution of vanillin in 50% phosphoric acid. Preparative TLC on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 74:23:3. TLC of hydrolyzed saponins with benzene - acetone 4:1 and of partially methylated monosaccharides with the lower phase of chloroform - methanol - water 68:21:11. Detection by spraying with 4% ethanolic aniline - 4% ethanolic diphenylamine - phosphoric acid 5:5:1. TLC is successfully applied in the isolation and structure elucidation of complex saponins.

J. China Pharm. Univ.(Zhongguo Yaoke Daxue Xuebao) 21, 369-370 (1990). TLC of timosaponin AIII on silica with butanol – acetic acid – water 4:1:5. Detection by spraying with 10% phosphomolybdic acid. Quantification by densitometry.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 19, 595-598 (1991). TLC of alkaloids on silica with chloroform – cyclohexane – butylamine 5:4:1 and on aluminium oxide with 1,5% methanol in chloroform. Visualization after heating at 100 °C for 3 min, under UV 254 and 365 nm, and by spraying with iodoplatinate reagent.
J. Chromatogr. 538, 165-175 (1991). TLC on silica with ethyl acetate – acetic acid 9:1 and chloroform – methanol – acetic acid 45:4:1. Detection under UV 376 nm. Characterization also by 1HNMR, plasma desorption MS, HPLC, UV spectrophotometry and melting point.
J. Chinese Herb Med. 23, 245-246 (1992) TLC of ephedrine on silica with chloroform – methanol – NH3 100:20:1. Detection by spraying with 0.3% ninhydrin in butanol – acetic acid 95:5. Quantification by densitometry at 505 nm.
