Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 8, 160-161 (1995). TLC of the pyrethroid insecticides fenvalerate, cypermethrin, and deltamethrin on silica with petrol ether - ether 9:1. Detection after drying by successively spraying with 1% cobalt acetate and 5% sodium hydroxide, followed by spraying with 0.1% o-tolidine reagent after 5 min. Detection limit 10 µg.
Oxolinic acid residue analysis in fish tissue. J. Planar Chromatogr. 8, 378 - 381 (1995). HPTLC of flumequine, oxolinic acid, and nalidixic acid on silica gel after washing with methanol and dipping into 0.1 M dipotassium hydrogen phosphate in 50% ethanol with toluene - ethyl acetate - 90% formic acid 6:3:1. A second development might be necessary. Quantification by densitometry at 320 nm. New simple and sensitive method. The analytical procedure is available as CAMAG Application Note A-63.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 9, 197-198 (1996). TLC of sorbic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, parabens, carbamazepine, methylparaben, propylparaben on silica with e.g. toluene - isopropanol - diethylamine 10:10:1 in the first direction and after impregnation of the plate with paraffin in n-hexane resp. with methanol - water - acetic acid 350:150:1, saturated with liquid paraffin, in the second direction. Detection under UV. The proposed approach has the advantage of enabling determination of p-hydroxybenzoic acid in the presence of other acidic compounds.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 18 (5), 17-18 (1996). TLC on silica with 1) benzene - ethyl acetate 190:1, 2) chloroform - methanol 7:3, 3) cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 7:3. Detection with 1) 5 % vanillin in sulfuric acid - ethanol 1:4 and heating at 105 °C for 10 min; 2) under UV 254 nm. Identification by finger-print techniques. Quantification of hesperidin by HPLC.
Dtsch. Apoth. Ztg. 136, 24-33 (1996). Micro-TLC (resp. Nano-TLC) of approx. 65 drugs (herbal extracts) from DAB 10 on silica in horizontal chambers using - whenever possible - official methods from the DAB and comparison of the results. Advantages are i. a. saving of money, time, solvents, and better suitability for the laboratory in pharmacies.
CBS 84, 4-7 (2000) HPTLC-AMD of raffinose, sucrose, 1+6-kestoses, neo-kestose, nystose, and fructosyl-nystose on diol layer with a 9-step gradient from acetonitrile/acetone 1:1 - water 85:15 to acetonitrile/acetone 1:1 - water 95:5. Detection by dipping in 4-aminobenzoic acid reagent, followed by heating at 115 °C for 15 min. Quantitative determination by fluorescence measurement at 366/>400 nm and absorbance measurement at 400 nm.
CBS 89, 10-11 (2002). HPTLC on silica gel with 1) ethyl acetate - chloroform 1:1 over 30 mm followed by drying at room temperature for 15 min and 2) ethyl acetate - chloroform 9:1 over 50 mm in horizontal development chamber. Detection by dipping in anisaldehyde - sulfuric acid reagent followed by heating at 60 °C for 5 min. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 440 nm. Precision (n=6 at 100 mg/kg feed) is found to be 2.7 %.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 25 (8), 682-682 (2004). TLC of icanine and naringoside on silica gel with ethyl acetate - butanone - methanol - water 10:6:3:1. Detection by spraying with 5 % AICI3 in ethanol and heating at 105 ºC for 5 min, and under UV 365 nm. Identification by standard comparison.
