Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Ind. J. Pharm. Sci. 70(3), 366-368 (2008). TLC of rabeprazole and itopride hydrochloride in tablets on silica gel with n-butanol - toluene - ammonia 17:1:2. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 288 nm. The hRf value of rabeprazole was 23 and of itopride hydrochloride 75. Linearity was found to be in the range of 40 - 200 ng/spot for rabeprazole and 300-1500 ng/spot for itopride hydrochloride. The limit of detection and quantification for rabeprazole was 10 and 20 ng/spot and for itopride hydrochloride 50 and 100 ng/spot, respectively. The method is suitable for simultaneous anlysis of both the drugs in dosage form.
Acta Chromatographica 21 (1), 83-93 (2009). HPTLC of quetiapine fumarate on silica gel with toluene - methanol 4:1. The hRf value of quetiapine fumarate was 37. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm. There was no chromatographic interference from tablet excipients. The drug is susceptible to treatment with acid and alkaline hydrolysis, oxidation, and photodegradation. The method was able to separate the degradation products from the pure drug, it can be used for stability tests.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 22, 137-140 (2009). HPTLC of fluvastatin and photochemical decomposition products on RP-18 with phosphate buffer (pH 4.0) - methanol 3:17 at 4 +/- 0.5 °C with chamber saturation and under light protection. Before development the plates were thermostated for 10 min in the dry chamber. Detection of fluvastatin and its photoproducts under UV 254 nm. Isolation of photoproducts by preparative TLC on RP-18.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 21, 251-258 (2008). TLC of tiaprofenic acid, ketoprofen, naproxen, dexibuprofen, flurbiprofen, alminoprofen, and ibuprofen on silica gel with chloroform - acetone - toluene 12:5:2 and chloroform - ethyl acetate 1:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 225 nm (for naproxen, dexibuprofen, and ibuprofen) and at 270 nm (for tiaprofenic acid, ketoprofen, flurbiprofen, and alminoprofen).
Abstract No. F-282, 61st (2009). HPTLC of lipids on silica gel in a saturated twin trough chamber with carbon tetrachloride - methanol - acetic acid 270:30:11 at room temperature (25 °C). Quantitative determination by fluorescence measurement at 366 nm. The hRf value of cholesterol was 35. The calibration curve showed good linear relationship with r2=0.999 in the range of 100-600 ng/spot (via peak area).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 22, 435-437 (2009). TLC of penicillins (benzylpenicillin, ampicillin, and amoxicillin) and cephalosporins (cephalexin, cefoperazone, ceftriaxone, cefixime, and cefadroxil) in powder extracts on silica gel (impregnated with 0.2 % ammonium chloride) with propanol - acetic acid 4:1 and butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:2. Detection under UV light at 365 nm.
Abstract No. F-347, 61st IPC (2009). HPTLC of gatifloxacin and ornidazole on silica gel with dichloromethane - methanol - 25 % ammonia 95:10:3. The hRf value was 16 and 60 for gatifloxacin and ornidazole, respectively. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 302 nm. The method was linear in the range of 20-200 ng/band for gatifloxacin and 50-500 ng/band for ornidazole. Recovery was between 100.4 and 101.9 for both drugs.
J. AOAC Int. 92, 1064-1067 (2009). HPTLC of rabeprazole sodium and domperidone in tablets on silica gel (prewashed with methanol and dried at 110 °C for 5 min) with toluene - acetone - methanol 9:9:1 in a twin trough chamber saturated with the mobile phase for 5 min. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 285 nm. The hRf value of rapebrazole sodium and domperidone was 53 and 32, respectively. Linearity was between 50 and 800 ng/band for both substances.
