The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

Detection by spraying with a solution containing 0.25 g dimethylbenzaldehyde, 3 mL 85 % phosphoric acid, 48 mL acetic acid and 20 mL water, and heating at 80 °C for 30 min. Quantification by densitometry at 580 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 7, 368-371 (1994). Qualitative TLC of irradiated ciprofloxacin solutions on silica with mixtures of acetonitrile and various aqueous phases. Quantitative HPTLC on silica with acetonitrile - 10% NH3 containing 0.3 M ammonium chloride 13:7. Densitometry at 283 nm (absorbance). HPTLC offers a rapid and simple method.

Details of the preparation of different spray reagents are given, together with separation conditions. HPTLC data of saponins are also reported as well as methods for the quantitative determination in crude plant extracts.
