The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Detection by spraying, with molybdenum blue reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 700 nm. Derivatization also by spraying with 3 % copper acetate solution in 8 % aqueous phosphoric acid and heating at 140 °C for 20 min. Densitometry at 450 nm.

TLC of cholic acid, chenodesoxy cholic acid, desoxy cholic acid, lithocholic acid and ursodesoxy cholic acid on silica with isooctane - isopropanol - acetic acid 30:10:1 and/or isooctane - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 10:10:2. Derivatization with 2 % ethanolic solution of 2,7-dichlorofluoresceine. Densitometric quantification by fluorescence. Fiber rich polysaccharides (dietary fibers) elevate fecal bile acids and their metabolites. The possible role of this diet in relation to fecal bile acid concentration and large bowel cancer is discussed.
