Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Chromatogr. 315, 395-400 (1984). Reversed-phase HPTLC of gangliosides GT 1b, GD 1a, GD 1b, Fuc-GM1, GM1 and AM2 on C18-bonded silica with methanol - acetonitrile - water 196.5:1. Detection by spraying with p-dimethylaminobenzaldahyde reagent and heating at 120 °C for 20 minutes. Quantification by densitometry at 620 nm. The method is rapid and simple to evaluate the long-chain base composition of single gangliosides, also the long-chain base content of gangliosides.
Anal. Chim. Acta 170, 149-152 (1985). Two-dimensional TLC of aflatoxin M1 on silica with ether - methanol water 95:4:1 in the 1st direction, chloroform - acetone 7:3 in the 2nd direction. Quantitation by fluorescence densitometry. Detection limit 0.005 ng/g for milk and 0.05 ng/g for milk powder.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 7, 2711-2718 (1984). Examination of errors contributing to the total variance of automated streaking technique and comparison of these results with computer optimized and zig-zag scanning approaches. The error due to inhomogenous sample distribution is shown to be the most important.
Detection by spraying with Dragendorff reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 510 nm.
J. Chromatogr. 351, 379-382 (1986). TLC of plant extracts containing the xanthone-C-glycoside mangiferin on silica with ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 67:13:20. Densitometric determination at 366 nm. Also TLC of colladin and colladonin with benzene - MEK - formic acid 9:1:1. Comparison with HPLC. Method suitable for the quantitative determination of other xanthone glycosides and coumarins in plant extracts.
J. Chromatogr. 380, 235-237 (1986). Improvement of a previous method (elimination of phospholipid interference) for determination of bile acids in bile by extraction with methanolic phase. TLC of bile acids on silica with chloroform - methanol - acetic acid - water 65:24:15:9. Quantification by densitometry.
Talanta 33, 455-457 (1986). TLC of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm and Y on silica with isopropyl ether - ether - di-(2-ethyl hexyl)phosphate - nitric acid 8:8;0.4:0.07. Detection by spraying with 0.02 % chlorophosphonazo-m- NO2 in ethanol while still hot. Quantitation by densitometry at 665 nm.
Quantitative determination of TLC-separated enantiomers. GIT Suppl. Chromatographie 3, 27-32 (1987). By means of nine examples (D-Phe, tert.-leu, 5, 5-dimethyl-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid, O-Bzl-Ser, L-4-iodophenylalanine, L-he, L-tyr, L-methyldopa, D-leu-L-leu) is demonstrated, that the quantitative determination of TLC-separated antipodes is a useful method for daily routine process in any laboratory. The resolution of the enantiomers is excellent, the respective antipodes could be evaluated at trace levels, the limit of determination is found to be at or above 0.1 %. In comparison to the "classical methods" GC and HPLC, TLC offers separation in parallel runs.
