Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 16, 267-268 (1996). TLC on silica with chloroform - methanol - NH3 40:10:1. Detection under UV 254 nm. Quantification by densitometry at 238 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 11, 105-107 (1998). Use of HPTLC to determine chemotaxonomic differences between the neutral lipid content of three trematode species. Visual observations of the chromatograms showed some differences between both the major and minor neutral lipids present in the adults of these worms. Densitometric quantitative analysis showed significant differences between the triacylglycerol contents, but not between the sterol content of any of the species. HPTLC of lipids (e.g. cholesterol, oleic acid, triolein, methyl oleate, and cholesteryl oleate) on silica gel with petroleum ether - ether - acetic acid 80:20:1. Detection by spraying with 5% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating for 20 min at 110°C. HPTLC was performed at 22°C and 55% relative humidity. Densitometry at 700 nm.
Chin. J. Anal. Lab. (Fenxi Shiyanshi) 17, 63-65 (1998). TLC on silica gel with benzene - chloroform - acetic acid - methanol 100:199:5:6. Quantitation by densitometry at 260 nm. Precision = 1.7% (n=24). Recovery 101.6 ± 1.6% (n=10).
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 18, 37-39 (1996). TLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol 4:1 and traces of NH3. Quantitation by densitometry at 237 nm. Precision 0.6% (n=5) within plate and 2.2% (n=5) plate-to-plate. Recovery 100.2 ± 2.64% (n=5).
CBS 89, 12-15 (2002). HPTLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - water - ammonia 24% 65:30:4:2 over 90 mm with chamber saturation for 30 min. Detection by dipping in CuSO4/H3PO4 reagent for 8 s followed by heating at 170 °C for 10 min. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 500 nm. Comparising operating costs the HPTLC analysis appears preferable for quality control of samples with known content. HPLC is more cost effective for the analysis of samples with unknown content.
CBS 86, 4-5 (2001) HPTLC of 3-methoxy-4-amino azo meta sulphonic acid (MAMASA) on silica gel with n-butanol - diethylamine - ammonia - methanol 9:5:5:2 with chamber saturation for 5 min followed by drying at 40 °C. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 26 (1), 19-23 (2004). TLC on silica gel in a basic developing system containing diethylamine. Detection by iodine vapour. Identification by standard comparison. Quantitative determination by densitometry at 340 nm. Validation of the method by investigation of the procedures, including sample preparation, mobile phase, visualization, scanning wavelength, linearity range (0.28-1.65 µg, r=0.9991), precision (RSD <1.4 % within plate and <2.4 % plate-to-plate), resolution, repeatability, reproducibility, and recovery (87.2 %-99.7 % for different medicine). Comparison of the results with those obtained by HPLC.
CBS 91, 14-15 (2003). HPTLC of hawthorn extract on silica gel with ethyl acetate - methanol - water - formic acid 50:2:3:6, of passion flower extract on silica gel with tetrahydrofuran - toluene - formic acid - water 16:8:2:1, and of chrysine on RP-18 W phase with tetrahydrofuran - methanol - water - formic acid 4:6:14:1. Detection by dipping the warm plate in natural products reagent (0.5 % in ethyl acetate) followed by dipping in PEG 400 solution (5 % in dichloromethane). Visual evaluation at 366 nm.
