The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Study of the use of diphenyltin dichloride (DIC) as a chromogenic compound for both the qualitative and quantitative analysis of flavones and flavonols on TLC plates by forming fluorescent complexes of different color. TLC of the flavonoids on silica, polyamide and cellulose with various mobile phases. Detection by spraying with a 2% (w/v) solution of DTC in acetone - methanol 1:1, and viewing under UV 366 nm. Quantification by densitometry at 436 nm. Detection limit for quercetin, 20 ng.
Acta Pharmaceutica Hungarica 64, 63-66 (1994). TLC of oxytetracycline on silica. Predevelopment with saturated aqueous disodium ethylenediamine-tetraacetate solution followed by development with chloroform - methanol - water 65:25:5. Quantification by densitometry at 254 nm.
Indian Drugs 31 (5), 211-214 (1994). TLC of different analgesics on silica (1mm thick) with ethyl acetate - chloroform - methanol - water 75:15:5:3:2. Quantification after elution with methanol - 1N HCl 99:1 by spectrophotometry at 242 nm (paracetamol), 258 nm (dextropropoxyphene HCl) and 620 nm (dicyclomine HCl) after derivatization with cobalt chloride reagent.
J. AOAC Int. 78, 115-117 (1995). TLC of 1,8-cineole and essential oils on silica with petrol ether - chloroform 7:3. Detection by spraying i.a. with 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde - sulfuric acid reagent and heating at 100 °C for 5 min. Quantification by densitometry at 670 nm.
J. AOAC Int. 77, 1435-1438 (1994). TLC of corticosteroids (betamethasone dipropionate, dexamethasone, hydrocortisone, testosterone) on silica with chloroform - ethyl acetate 2:1 for corticosteroid esters and chloroform ethyl acetate 1:1 for free corticosteroids. Detection with tetrazolium blue reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 240 nm before spraying with the chromogenic reagent, or at 520 nm after spraying.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 18, 755-761 (1995). HPTLC of the title compounds on RP-18 silica with toluene - methanol 9:1 and hexane - acetone - methanol - acetic acid 35:10:5:0.1. Detection under UV 254 nm. Quantification by densitometry at 215 nm for pentachlorophenol and at 265 nm for cymiazole. Recoveries from water at 0.25 - 5 ppm, 97.7-100% for pentachlorophenol and 89.5-94.9% for cymiazole, those from honey at 10 and 50 ppm, 94.0 - 96.1% ad 91.9 - 93.7%, respectively.
Indian Drugs 31 (11), (1994). HPTLC on silica with methanol - water 2:1 after saturation for 1 h. Quantification by densitometry at 302 nm. Also preparative TLC on silica, activated at 110°C for 30 min, with the same mobile phase. Spectrophotometry after elution with methanol at 302 nm. Recovery 99.42%.
Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhong Chengyao) 17, 1-2. (1995). TLC of the extracts of title drug on silica with 1) chloroform - methanol 40:1, 2) cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 5:1. Detection by spraying with 5 % phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol, or with 5% vanillin in sulfuric acid and heating. Quantification of the main components by densitometry at 254 nm.
