The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

TLC of alkaloids (wanpeinine A, isoverticine, verticinone, peimisine) on silica with 1) ethyl acetate - methanol- NH3 17:2:1, 2) cyclohexane - ethyl acetate- diethylamine 6:4:1, and 3) ether - ethanol 100:3. Detection by spraying with Dragendorff's reagent. Quantification of total alkaloids by colorimetry, and of individual alkaloids by densitometry at 495 nm.
J. Chinese Herb. Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 24, 409-410 (1993). TLC of hyoscyamine on silica with toluene - acetone - ethanol - NH3 8:10:1:1. Detection by spraying with potassium iodobismuthate solution. Quantification by densitometry at 520 nm.
Carbohydr. Res. 251, 187-202 (1994). TLC of 1 - 15 oligomers of maltodextrins and isomaltodextrins and their branched dextrins on silica with acetonitrile - ethyl acetate - propanol - water 85:20:50:X, where X = 60, 60, 70 for maltodextrins and 90 and 100 for isomaltodextrins. Detection by dipping in a solution of 0.5% a-naphthol and 5 % sulfuric acid in ethanol, followed by heating at 120 °C. Quantification by densitometry. Detection limits 50 - 2000 ng. It was shown that glucose and each of the dextrins gave an identical response on a weight basis and that relative weight percents in a mixture could be obtained by dividing the density of each dextrin by the sum of the densities of the dextrins.

J. Chin. Trad. Med. (Zhongguo Zhongyao Zazhi) 18, 279-281 (1993). TLC of title compound on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - diethyl amine 7:2:1. Detection under UV 254 nm. Determination by densitometry. Discussion of the differences of the aconitine content in the products.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 16, 2573-2684 (1993). Ion-exchange TLC of Mg in Al-alloys on mixture of microcrystalline cellulose and 5-23 % Amberlite IRP-69 with HCl and nitric acid, in a concentration between 0.5 - 2.0 mol/L. Detection by spraying with ethanolic solution of 8-hydroxyquinoline (1%9, exposing to NH3 vapors, and spraying with an ethanolic solution of triethanolamine (5 %). Quantification by fluorometry at 366 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 7, 249-250 (1994). HPTLC of buprenorphine hydrochloride on silica with cyclohexane - toluene - diethylamine - methanol 100:30:33:10. Quantification by densitometry. Recovery 98.8%. Detection limit 16 ng. A simple, reliable, sensitive, and fast HPTLC method.
Chinese J. Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 25, 283-284 (1994). TLC of the extracts on polyamide with 1) ethanol, 2) methanol - butanol - - acetyl acetone 10:5:1. Detection by spraying with 1% FeCl3 - 1% potassium ferricyanide 1:1. Column isolation according to the results from TLC. Identification of ethyl gallate, gallic acid, quercitrin, and 5,7,3'-4'-tetrahydroxyflaven by UV, FTIR, MS, NMR.
