Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
GIT Fachz. Lab. Spez. Chrom. 2/96, 126-129 (1996). Combination of conventional TLC, with subsequent color detection and HPTLC, using AMD and densitometry. - HPTLC screening of amines after reductive cleavage of azoic dyes on silica with dichloromethane - acetonitrile 25:3; detection by coupling with (1-naphthyl)-ethylene diammonium dichloride. Confirmation of positive samples by AMD using a 15-step gradient. Quantification by densitometry at 200, 230, and 300 nm. As alternative TLC with diisopropylether - pentane - diethylamine 12:8:1.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 9, 282-285 (1996). TLC of dextromethorphan hydrobromide and doxylamine succinate on silica with methanol - 25% NH3 14:1. Quantification by densitometry at 223 nm. RSD for dextromethorphan hydrobromide 1.51%, for doxylamine succinate 1.81%. Detection limit for dextromethorphan hydromide 0.13 mg/spot, for doxylamine succinate 1.05 mg/spot. Simple quantitative procedure for routine analysis.

Detection by spraying with 0.2% ninhydrin in ethanol and heating at 110°C for 10 min. Quantification of 1-ephedrine by densitometry at 500 nm.
J. AOAC Int. 81, 44-50 (1998). TLC of propylene glycol, diethylene glycol, glycerin and sorbitol on silica gel with toluene - acetone - NH3 5 M 1:17:2. Detection at high concentrations of DEG (6% or more in glycerin) visually by transmitted daylight, at lower concentrations visualization with an iodine/starch stain. Simple, inexpensive and rapid TLC procedure.
J. Chromatogr. B 706, 362-366 (1998). TLC on silica gel with ethyl acetate - methanol - NH3 conc. 8:1:1. Quantitation by densitometry at 238 nm. Detection limit 20 mg and limit of quantitation 40 mg.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 18, 37-39 (1996). TLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol 4:1 and traces of NH3. Quantitation by densitometry at 237 nm. Precision 0.6% (n=5) within plate and 2.2% (n=5) plate-to-plate. Recovery 100.2 ± 2.64% (n=5).
CBS 83, 6-7 (1999). HPTLC-AMD of PAHs in liver and lung of animals exposed to contaminated soil on RP-18 with a 14-step gradient from acetonitrile to methanol - water 9:1. Quantification by fluorescence measurement at 313/>400 nm and 254/>400 nm, respectively. Strict linearity (r2 > 0.99 on 5 measuring points) was proven. Coefficient of variation was found to be < 5 %, and recoveries between 55 and 70 % were given. Limits of detection was determined to be 0.2 to 2 ng/g sample.
