The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

(HPTLC separation of low-molecular carbohydrates). Dünnschicht-Chromatographie InCom Sonderband 1996, 139-147. HPTLC of thermolysates of sugars (1,6-anhydroglucose, D-glucose, dextrin and starch) on silica with a two-step resp. a 23-step AMD development based on chloroform-methanol-water. Detection by spraying with aniline-diphenylamine-phosphoric acid and drying for 5 min at 105 °C. Quantification by densitometry at 385 nm.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 23, 747-755 (1995). TLC of carotenoid composition of seven prasinophytes on silica - calcium carbonate 2:1 with chloroform - methanol - heptane 100:1:400 and acetone - heptane 2:3. Detection in daylight.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 18 (5), 3-4 (1996). TLC on silica with petrol ether - chloroform - acetic acid 5:9:1. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor. Identification by comparison with standards of astragaloside and ferulic acid. Quantification of gastrodine by spectrophotometry.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 17 (7), 13-15 (1995). TLC of cholic acid, hyodeoxycholic acid and dracoalban on silica with 1) chloroform - ether - acetic acid 2:2:1, 2) chloroform - methanol 19:1. Detection by spraying with 10 % phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating at 105 °C for 10 min. Quantification of dracoalban by densitometry at 477 nm. RSD 1.34 %; recovery 98.8 %.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 27, 281-283 (1996). TLC of emodin and anthraquinone on silica with petrol ether (60-90 °C) - hexane - ethyl acetate - formic acid 10:30:15:1. Identification of the constitutive components by comparison with the standards. Quantification by densitometry.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 17 (9), 11-12 (1996). TLC of kaempferol on silica with benzene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 8:2:1. Quantification by UV spectrophotometry.

Quantitative hydrocarbon group type analysis of a deasphalted heavy oil from petroleum and its derived hydrocracking products by configuration of detector, an automatic sample spotter, a careful selection of the operating parameters. Use of the method for the detection and quantification of saturates, alkylaromatics, aromatics, polar and an uneluted fraction. Discussion of the repeatability and the linearity range for each separated fraction.

HPTLC of phospholipids - lysophosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylglycerine, phosphatidic acid, cholesterol, sphingomyelin, lysophosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylethanolamine - on silica with methyl acetate - chloroform - 1-propanol - methanol - 0.25% aqueous potassium chloride solution 25:25:25:10:9. Visualization under UV 254 and 366 nm and by immersion in an acidic solution of cupric acetate monohydrate. Quantification by densitometry at 350 nm. Detection limit of phospholipids approx. 10 - 1000 ng. Also separation of neutral lipids, cholesterol, and phospholipids with petrol ether - ether - acetic acid 40:40:1.
