The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

HPTLC of six diuretic compounds (hydroflumethiazide, furosemide, thrichlorothiazide, amiloride hydrochloride, hydrochlorothiazide, chlorthalidone) on silica with ethyl acetate – water 100:1.5 or ethyl acetate – methanol – NH3 85:10:5. Identification by direct MS. Detection limits (imaging mode) 1 µg, resp. 1-10 ng (non-imaging mode).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 4, 267-269 (1991). HPTLC of testosterone on silica with benzene – hexane – ethanol. Detection by spraying with 0.005 m 1,4-dihydrazinophthalazine in sulfuric acid – ethanol 1:1. Quantification by densitometry (absorbance at 400 nm). Detection limit 0.125 µg% plasma testosterone and 1 µg/1000 mL 24 h urinary testosterone. Simple, sensitive, selective, rapid TLC procedure.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 23, 23-25 (1992). TLC of peiminine, peimine hupehinine, hupeheinoside and ebieusine on silica with benzene – ethyl acetate – diethylamine 6:4:1. Detection by spraying with potassium iodobismuthate reagent. Quantification by densitometry (absorbance) at 410, 480 and 490 nm.
) (Chinese). J. Chin. Trad. Med. (Zhongguo Zhongyao Zazhi) 16, 350-351 (1991). TLC of bufotoxins on silica with ethyl acetate – hexane 19:1. Quantification by densitometry (absorbance) at 300 nm.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 14, 1483-1494 (1991). TLC of Fe(III), Ni(II), Zn(II), Cu(II), Pb(II) and Mn(II) on silica with sodium thioglycolate solution. Detection by spraying with various reagents. Investigation of the dependence of Rf values on the migration time, pH and concentration of mobile phase. Quantification by atomic absorption spectroscopy.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 5, 229-233 (1992). TLC of a bis quaternary ammonium steroid on silica with lithium perchlorate (20%) in water - 2-propanol - glycerol 5:90:5. Separation of the decomposition products with sodium iodide (40%) in water - 2-propanol - acetonitrile 5:90:5. Detection with iodine vapor resp. by immersion into a solution of iodine (0.25%) in chloroform - methanol 1:1 (decomposition products). TLC of an estrogen and a progestogen on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 80:20:3. Quantification by scanning in fluorescence/reflection mode. Practical hints on application, development, detection, and densitometric evaluation; if performed carefully, TLC results are of the same quality as those from HPLC or GC.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 4, 490-492 (1991). HPTLC of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 on silica with ether - methanol - water 188:9:3 in the first direction and with chloroform - acetone 17:3 in the second direction. The dried plates were immersed in a solution of paraffin in hexane 1:3 and visually inspected under solution of paraffin in hexane 1:3 and visually inspected under UV 366 nm. Quantification by densitometry at 366 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 4, 337-338 (1991). TLC of aminophenazone on silica with chloroform - ether - methanol 7:5:1. Measurement of the absorbance after extraction against reference solution (extraction of the ion associate of iron (III) with 1,10-phenanthroline and bromophenol blue).
