The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 24, 247-254 (1996). TLC of terpenoids on silica (activated at 105°C for 1 h) with hexane - ethyl acetate 49:1. Visualization under UV 254 nm or by spraying with sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 105-110°C.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 9, 296-299 (1996). HPTLC of lansoprazole (4-ethoxytrifluoro-(3-methyl)-2-pyridylmethyl-sulfinyl-benz-imidazole) on silica with the dried organic layer of the mixture of ethyl acetate - methanol - 13.5 M NH3 10:3:4. Quantification by densitometry (absorbance) at 288 nm. Limit of quantification and limit of detection were found to be 40 and 10 ng, respectively. RSD of within-day precision and day-to-day repeatability were 0.55 and 0.42%, respectively. New specific, and sensitive chromatographic procedure.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 18 (5), 15-16 (1996). TLC on silica with 1) chloroform , 2) benzene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 40:35:7 and 8:7:1, 3) petrol ether - acetone 3:1. Detection by spraying with 1% FeCl3 in ethanol, and under UV 365 nm. Identification by fingerprint method. Quantification of protocatechualdehyde by HPLC.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 18 (1), 20-21 (1996). TLC of hesperidin on silica with 1) the upper phase of ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 7:1:3, 2) chloroform - methanol - acetone - NH3 10% 3:3:3:1. Detection 1) by spraying with 10% AlCl3 in ethanol and under UV 365 nm, 2) by spraying with 0.5% ninhydrin in ethanol and heating at 105°C for 5 min. Identification and quantification by comparison with standards.
Phytochemistry 48, 165-169 (1998). TLC of furano-diterpenes on silica gel with toluene- ethyl acetate - methanol 40:9:1. Detection under UV 254 and by spraying with a 1% solution of 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde. Isolation from a crude dichloromethane extract by preparative TLC on silica gel with hexane - ethyl acetate 7:3 and 1:1.
J. Chromatogr. B 707, 347-350 (1998). TLC on silica gel with toluene - acetone - formic acid 60:39:1. Quantitation by radioactivity assay using a phosphor imager. Comparison to HPLC method, giving a correlation coefficient of 0.978 between the two methods.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 20 (3), 18-19 (1998). TLC of tea extracts on silica gel with hexane - ethyl acetate - formic acid 60:20:1. Detection under UV 365 nm. Identification by comparison with the standard. Quantitation of emodin by densitometry at 440 nm. Precision = 1.47% (n=4). Recovery 95.1 Ò 1.5% (n=5)
CBS 84, 14-15 (2000). HPTLC of wine samples on silica gel with diisopropyl ether - formic acid - water 16:3:1 with chamber saturation. Detection by heating at 110 °C for 15 min, followed by cooling to room temperature and dipping in bromophenol blue reagent. Quantitative determination of malic, lactic, and succinic acid by absorbance measurement at 430 nm.
