Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
II. Eleutherococcus senticosus maxim, panax ginseng Meyer and picrorrhiza kurroa Royle. J. Chromatogr. 312, 497-503 (1984). HPTLC of the title compound on silica with 1,2-dichloroethane - ethanol -methanol -water 65:22:22:7. Detection with a mixture (1:1) of 1 % vanillin in ethanol and 5 % sulfuric acid in ethanol. Densitometry at 530 nm after color stabilization (5 min.). The same method gave excellent results for the analysis of crude ginseng extracts. Also HPTLC of picrorrhiza kurroa extracts with dichloromethane-methanol - water 40:10:1. Detection at 268 and 285 nm. Precise and accurate HPTLC-densitometry method for the standardization of plant drugs.

Quantification by spectrophotometry. Detection limits 5-7 mg/kg for aflatoxin B1 and 20 mg/kg for ochratoxin A.
(Comparative evaluation of analytical methods for the determination of preservatives. The determination of methyl-p-hydroxy-benzoate in the preparates of the pharmacopoeia by quantitative thin-layer chromatography and by gas-chromatography.) A simple, relatively rapid and repeatable thin-layer densitometric (and gas-chromatographic) method has been developed for quantitative determination of methyl-p-hydroxy-benzoate content of syrups, ointments and mucilages, corresponding to the requirements of the pharmacopoeia. Sample preparation with Extrelut columns. TLC on silica with pentane - ether 7:3. Detection by UV 254 nm. Detection limit 100 ng, densitometry by absorbance at 258 nm.
