The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Enhancement of the fluorescence by dipping the plate for 5 sec in paraffin - hexane 37:100. Quantification by fluoro densitometry at 310 nm. Discussion of the degradation of dansyl polyamines due to the time interval between application of samples.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 8, 314 - 318 (1995). Analysis of chloramphenicol-monosuccinate and gentamycin as example of the use of quantitative TLC for quality control of freshly produced drugs and those stored long-term. - TLC of chloramphenicol-monosuccinate sodium on silica with n-butyl acetate - acetic acid 24:1; quantification by densitometry at 280 nm. TLC of gentamycin on silica with the lower layer of a mixture of chloroform - methanol - NH3 conc. (after shaking) 1:1:1. Detection after derivatization with fluorescamine; quantification by densitometry (fluorescence) at 366 nm. Convenient, fast, cost-effective, simple screening procedure.
Chromatographia 40, 737-739 (1995). Presentation of a method for determination of prednisolone acetate by stepwise gradient TLC on silica with chloroform - acetone 100:0, 90:10, 75:25, and densitometry, at 243 nm. The TLC method was found to be comparable to HPLC and radioisotope methods.
J. Chromatogr. A 724, 411-415 (1996). TLC of p-iodophenol and p-coumaric acid on cellulose with 0.1 M tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.5). Detection by spraying with a solution of 2mM luminol, 6 mM H2O2 and 0.744 U/mL peroxidase in a 0.094 M tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.5). Determination by densitometry with a single optical fibre that collected the emission signal to a spectrometer. Detection limit 38 ng and 14 ng respectively.
Chinese J. Chromatogr. (Sepu) 14, 75-76 (1996). TLC on silica with butanol - isopropanol - NH3 - water 2:8:1:1. Quantification of adenine and adenosine by densitometry at 265 nm. Detection limit 0.12 mg/mL for both. RSD = < 1.0 % for both recoveries of 99.1 % and 98.8 %, respectively.
Chin. Trad. Med. (Zhongguo Zhongyao Zazhi) 20, 482-483 (1995). TLC on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 13:7:2. Detection by spraying with 110 °C for 5 min. Quantification by densitometry at 400 nm. RSD 2.3 %; recovery 95.0 %.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 27, 58-59 (1996). TLC on silica with chloroform - ethyl acetate - NH3 15:20:1. Detection by spraying with Dragendorff's reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 520 nm. RSD 1.78 %; recovery 1.98 %.
J. Chin. Trad. Med. (Zhongguo Zhongyao Zazhi) 21, 28-30 (1996). TLC of ginsenosides, tetrahydropalmatine and icariin on silica with 1) chloroform - methanol - water 13:7:2, 2) hexane - chloroform - methanol - diethylamine 100:60:1. Detection by 1) spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 105 °C for 5 min, 2) by exposure to iodine vapor. Identification by comparison of the chromatograms and in situ spectra. Quantification of icariin by densitometry at 270 nm.
