The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

HPTLC of DDT and DDE extracted from plant material on silica with hexane - ether 9:1. Detection by immersing in 0.1 % diphenylamine ethanolic solution. Activation of the chromatogram for 30 min. under UV at 366 nm. Quantification by fluorometry at 366 nm. Comparison with GC.
J. Chromatogr. 315, 395-400 (1984). Reversed-phase HPTLC of gangliosides GT 1b, GD 1a, GD 1b, Fuc-GM1, GM1 and AM2 on C18-bonded silica with methanol - acetonitrile - water 196.5:1. Detection by spraying with p-dimethylaminobenzaldahyde reagent and heating at 120 °C for 20 minutes. Quantification by densitometry at 620 nm. The method is rapid and simple to evaluate the long-chain base composition of single gangliosides, also the long-chain base content of gangliosides.
Chromatogr. (Se pu) 3, 191-194 (1985). (Chinese). (Study on the TLC behaviours of transition metal complexes with 5-Br-PADAP.) TLC of nickel, copper and cobalt-5- Br- PADAP complexes on silica with methanol -chloroform - acetyl acetone 1:10:0.005. Quantitation by densitometry at 500 nm. The coefficients of variation 0.24 %, 0.76 % and 0.26 % for nickel, copper and cobalt, respectively.
Anal. Chim. Acta 170, 153-158 (1985). TLC of flunitrazepam and its metabolites in urine on silica with a) chloroform - acetone 85:15 and b) ethyl acetate - ethanol - NH3 100:10:3. Detection by inspecting under UV 254 nm and 365 nm, or fluorescence scanning at 365 nm.
J. Chromatogr. 330, 396-399 (1985). Two-dimensional TLC of radiolabeled fatty acid methyl esters on silica, impregnated with silver nitrate in the first direction, and on silica, impregnated with decane in the second direction with methanol - water 95:5. Detection by spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid and heating at 180 °C or by exposing to iodine vapor. Determination of radioactivity by scintillation spectrometry after elution.
Statistical comparison with high-performance liquid chromatography. J. Chromatogr. 375, 119-128 (1986). TIC of benzamide on silica with chloroform - methanol - NH3 80:15:3. Detection by spraying with first 1 % sodium nitrite in water, then hydrochloric acid, and thereafter N-(1-naphthy) ethylene diammonium dichloride. Quantification by densitometry at 530 nm. Detection limit 10 ng. Comparison with HPLC shows good correlation.
Improvement and evaluation of a method using molybdenum blue reagent for detection. J. Chromatogr. 375, 255-266 (1986). TLC of phospholipids on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 65:25:4, and chloroform - acetone - methanol - acetic acid - water 50:20:15:10:5. Detection by spraying, with molybdenum blue reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 700 nm. Derivatization also by spraying with 3 % copper acetate solution in 8 % aqueous phosphoric acid and heating at 140 °C for 20 min. Densitometry at 450 nm.
