The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Detection of amino acids with ninhydrin. Quantification by densitometry (absorbance at 500 nm for ninhydrin - amino acid complexes and 548 nm for cobalamines). Comparison to videodensitometry with a system developed by the authors.

HPTLC of oxolinic acid on silica impregnated with 0.1 M K2HPO4 with chloroform - acetone 9:1; of erythromycin on silica with ethyl acetate - acetic acid - water 6:2:2. Visualization by derivatization with 4-methoxybenzaldehyde; quantification by densitometry (absorbance at 517 nm). HPTLC of oxytetracycline on silica treated by dipping into an aqueous solution of 10% EDTA with dichloromethane - methanol - water 59:35:6. Scanning by fluorescence at 366/>400 nm or by absorbance at 254 or 280 nm.

J. Planar Chromatogr. 7, 362-367 (1994). OPLC of prostaglandins as a-bromo-2'-acetonaphthone derivatives on HPTLC silica with ethyl acetate - ether - benzene - dioxane - hexane 45:12:5:8:30. Detection by fluorescence at 265 nm; detection limits ranged from 10 to 70 pg for different prostaglandins.
