The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

CBS 94, 2-4 (2005). HPTLC-AMD of four pharmaceuticals and extracts of surface water on silica gel prewashed with 2-propanol (immersion for 24 h) with a 25-step gradient based on acetonitrile - formic acid - dichloromethane. Luminographic detection at ng-level by immersion of the developed HPTLC plates into Vibrio fischeri bacteria suspension. Visual evaluation with CCD-camera, exposure time 40 s, inversion and scaling of exposure in pseudocolors. To remove matrix (humic acids) from surface water samples size exclusion chromatography is recommended.

Comprehensive 2D planar chromatography on mono and bilayers, coupled-layer chromatography, combination of multidimensional planar chromatographic techniques, hyphenated methods are proved to be suitable.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 8, 300-305 (1995). TLC and HPTLC of 39 phenols on RP-18 silica and silica in 12 mobile phase systems, i. a. toluene - acetone 4:1, acetonitrile - water 7:3, chloroform, toluene. Detection under UV at 215 nm and 254 nm. Also indication of detection limits. Easy and economic TLC procedure.
Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations, Planar Chromatography 2001, pp. 55-66. TLC of fungicides (imazalil, fenpropidin, benalaxyl, isoproteron, metoxuron, carbendazim, fenpropimorph, iprodion, epoxiconazol) on silica gel with AMD with a 33 step solvent gradient based on dichloromethane with acetonitrile as polar and n-hexane as nonpolar component described in DIN 38 407 Part 11. Detection of the fungicide effect of the samples using mould spores as detection agent.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 5, 465-467 (1992). TLC of 8 azaarenes on cellulose with DMF - water mixtures 65:35, 50:50, 35:65, 20:80, 10:90. After drying visualization under UV 254 nm and exposure to trifluoroacetic acid vapor followed by visualization under UV.
wastewater by high-pressure liquid chromatography and thin-layer chromatography–densitometric methods
J. Planar Chromatogr. 27, 287-293 (2014). HPTLC of ciprofloxacin HCl (1) and moxifloxacin HCl (2) in industrial wastewater on silica gel with methanol - ammonia - methylene chloride 11:7:4. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 278 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 43 and 54, respectively. Linearity was in the range of 250-2500 ng/zone for (1) and 1000-50000 ng/zone for (2). The intermediate/interday/intra-day precisions were below 1 % (n=3). The LOD and LOQ were 110 ad 335 ng/zone for (1) and 101 and 305 ng/zone for (2), respectively. Recoveries were between 79.6 and 91.5 % for both (1) and (2). Results were comparable to a HPLC method.
J. Chromatogr. 589, 390-393 (1992). TLC on silica with a) chloroform - methanol 8:2, and b) chloroform - methanol - acetic acid 80:20:2. Detection by immersing in 4-methoxybenzaldehyde solution and heating at 130 °C for 2 min. Quantification by fluorodensitometry at 366 nm.
