Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. AOAC Int. 78, 1328 - 1332 (1995). TLC of sodium salts of tripolyphosphate, pyrophosphate, phosphate dibasic, and phosphate monobasic on cellulose with isopropanol - propanol - trichloroacetic acid - NH3 - water 200:175:25:1:125. Detection by spraying with molybdenum blue spray reagent. - Exogenous polyphosphates are distinguishable from naturally occurring phosphates; TLC detection of added phosphates can be used as an inspection tool for fresh products and for frozen products stored about 1 year.
Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations, Planar Chromatography 2001, pp. 283-292. HPTLC of adenosine, cytosine, thymidine, 2'-deoxyuridine, 2'-deoxycytidine, thymine, inosine and uridine on silica gel - after prewashing with methanol - chloroform 1:1 with 1-butanol - 2-propanol - 25% NH3 - water 13:1:2:1, ethyl acetate - methanol - 25% NH3 5:2:1, and chloroform - methanol - water 830:15:3. Detection under UV at 254 nm. Quantitation by densitometry in reflectance mode at 260 nm.
J. Chromatogr. 367, 155-159 (1986). Investigation of the utility of the reaction between alkylacrylates and diazomethane. TLC of whole homologous series of C1- C18 n-alkyl-3-alkoxy-carbonyl-2-pyrazolines on silica with binary systems containing benzene and ethyl acetate. Cellulose and octadecyl-bonded silica were also employed as sorbents.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 4, 370-372 (1991). HPTLC of polidocanol (mixture of monolauryl ethers of polyethylene glycols) on silica with MEK - acetone 10:1, water saturated. Visualization by dipping the plates for one second into a solution of 2% potassium dichromate in 12% aqueous sulfuric acid. Quantification by densitometry in reflectance mode at 600 nm. CV =3.4% (n=10) and recovery rate 97.0 + 3.1% (n=8).
CBS 81, 6-7 (1998). HPTLC-AMD on silica gel with a gradient based on methanol – dichloromethane – n-hexane. Quantification by densitometry with absorbance measurement at 220 nm and fluorescence measurement at 366/>400 nm.
J. Chromatogr. 464, 213-219 (1989). Analytical OPLC of polypodoside A, B and C on silica with ethyl acetate - ethanol - water 130:27:20, chloroform - methanol - water 6:3:1 and the lower layer of hexane - chloroform - methanol - water 0.8:6:3:1. Detection by spraying with 60% sulfuric acid and heating at 110°C for 10 min.; densitometry. Also preparative OPLC.
Acta Chromatographica 14, 82-91 (2004). Comparative investigation of the group composition of ethanol extracts obtained from natural resins of different origin and geological age by TLC on silica gel with dichloromethane - methanol 10:1 for carboxylic acids and a-hydroxy and a-keto acids, and with hexane - benzene - methanol 2:6:1 for other compounds. Detection with phosphoric and sulfuric acid and under UV 254 nm for additional identification of unsaturated compounds. Discussion of the potential of using the characteristics of the chromatograms as an auxiliary tool for classification of natural resins and, especially important, fossil resins.
