Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 16, 286-288 (2003). TLC of zinc(II) butyrate, zinc(II) isobutyrate, and zinc acetate on silica gel, prewashed with water û methanol, with 2-propanol - water 2:3 and pure redistilled water and on anion exchange layers with dioxane - water 3:2. Detection by derivatization with bromophenol blue, bromocresol green, and thymol blue indicator solutions, directly on the wet layer. Bromocresol green (0.5% solution + 5 mL 0.1 M NaOH) resulted in most sensitive detection of the carboxylates tested. The detection limit for this reagent and butyrate anion was established as 0.03 mg/L. New detection procedure.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 23, 156-161 (2010). TLC of aluminium, silicon and iron on microcrystalline cellulose, on silica gel and combinations with aluminium oxide. Mobile phases used were 1:1, 7:3, 9:1, and 8:2 mixtures of 10 % aqueous solutions of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, potassium bromide, and sodium formate with 10 % aqueous formic acid, and 1:8 mixtures of 1 % aqueous sodium molybdate with 3 %, 4 %, and 5 % hydrochloric acid. Aluminium(III) was detected by spraying with 0.05 % aqueous aluminon (triammonium aurin tricarboxylate). Aqueous potassium ferrocyanide in 10 % aqueous sodium formate solution was used for the visualization of iron(II). Silicon was detected by spraying with 1 % sodium molybdate at pH 0.80-0.92. Quantitative determination by scanning densitometry at 402 nm for silicon, at 528 nm for aluminium and at 620 nm for iron. LOD was 7-10 ppm for aluminium(III), 2-5 ppm for iron(II), and 4-6 ppm for silicon(IV).
Chromatographia 20, 364-366 (1985). Study of TLC behaviour of 49 inorganic ions on cellulose phosphate with binary solvent mixtures consisting of sulfuric acid and an organic solvent. Demonstration of the feasibilities of the separation of multi component mixtures with 0.5 mol sulfuric acid - acetone 8:2. The Rf values of many bivalent and monovalent ions decrease on p-cellulose with an increasing concentration of the organic solvent.
Detection limit 2000 ng. An empirical formula for Rf was presented as a function of atomic number and ionic radius of the separated species and developing reagent.
J. Liquid Chrom. 10, 1349-1358 (1987). TLC of Fe(II) and Fe(III) salts (nitrate, chlorides, sulfates) on silica with 9 solvent systems containing formic acid. Estimation by visual comparison.
Chromatographia 25, 989-992 (1988). Reversed-phase TLC of rare earth elements octadecyl-bonded silica with methanol - lactate media. Detection by spraying with 0. 1% aqueous arsenazo (III) or 0. 1% aqueous xylenol orange followed by exposure to NH3. Investigation of the partition chromatographic behavior and the effects of the concentration and pH of lactate solution, methanol concentration and temperature on the migration and the resolution of rare earth elements. The partition system is particularly suited to separate adjacent rare earths of middle atomic weight groups.
J. Chromatogr. Sci. 28, 400-402 (1990). TLC of Fe (III), Ni (II), Cu (II), Pb (II), Zn (II), and Mn (II) on silica with aqueous solutions of sodium malonate and sodium malate. Discussion of the variation in Rf values of metal ions with respect to pH and concentration of mobile phase additives. Determination of the optimum conditions for separation of a three-component mixture. Application for separation and detection of metal ions in industrial waste water sample containing metal ions.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 3, 280-282 (1990). TLC of Re, Mo, V, W on Polichrom A (a copolymer of mixed 1,4- and 1,5-di(methacryloyloxymethyl)naphthalene and styrene with starch, dextrin of a polyvinyl alcohol containing 10-14% acetate groups as binder), with 0.5 hydrochloric acid - ethanol 9:1 as mobile phase. Detection by spraying first with a saturated solution of tin chloride in conc. HCl and second with a saturated aqueous solution of ammonium rhodanide.
