Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

J. Chromatogr. 456, 346-350 (1988). TLC on silica with dry single and multi component solvents.
J. Chromatogr. 498, 428-430 (1990). TLC of some metals, Co, Cu, Fe, Hg, and Pb on silica, impregnated with salicylic, syringic and o-phthalic acid, with a) distilled water, and b) tap water. Detection by spraying with and by inspection under UV, or by exposure to NH3 followed by hydrogen sulfide vapor.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 3, 83-85 (1990). TLC separation of 23 metal ions on zirconium phosphoantimonate as layer using buffered EDTA solutions as eluent. Detection by a variety of agents (e.g. alizarin red, 1% ethanolic dimethylglyoxine, ammonium thiocyanate in acetone, diphenyl carbazide, potassium ferrocyanide, stannous chloride, dithizone, sodium rhodizonate and ammonium sulfide).
Chromatographia 35, 667-670 (1993). Description of the use of diantipyrilmethane and its derivatives for TLC separation of anions on silica with organic solvent - mineral acid or binary organic solvent mixtures using ascending or radial chromatographic techniques. Detection by viewing the colored iron complexes under day light, or under UV.
J. Chromatogr. Sci. 33, 531-535 (1995). TLC on silica, impregnated with 0.1% aqueous solution of sodium formate (pH 7.65). Detection by spraying with 0.1% dithizone in carbon tetrachloride for Zn(II), Cd(II), with 0.1% dimethylgluxime in ethanol for Ni2+, and by exposing to H2S gas for Hg(II). Determination by spectrophotometry. Discussion of the influences of the presence of various anions in the samples and pH values on the separation.
