The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

Quantification by densitometry at 265 nm and 275 nm, resp. Discussion of the relationship between the retention indices and solvent composition.
Bull. Chinese Med. 12, 742-744 (1987) (Zhongyao Tonbao). TLC on silica with petrol ether - ethyl acetate 8:2. Detection by UV. Quantification by UV spectrometry at 301 nm and 310 nm, resp. after elution with ethanol.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 19, 449-451 (1988). TLC on Polyamide with 36% acetic acid - ethyl acetate - 95% ethanol 15:1:1. Detection under UV. Quantification by densitometry.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. 9, 18-21 (1989). TLC of essential oils on silica with dichloromethane. Detection by spraying with 2% vanillin in sulfuric acid. Identification by comparison of chromatograms. Also GC/MS.
Planta Med. 55, 370-384 (1989). TLC of proanthocyanidins on silica with ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 18:1:1 on cellulose with acetic acid - conc.HCL - water 30:3:10 and on cellulose (2D-TLC) with 6% acetic acid and 2-butanol - acetic acid - water 14:1:5. Detection with 0.5% vanillin (in ethanol - water 5:95 - conc. HCl 4:1).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 2,.151-152 (1989). OPLC of capsaicin on HPTLC silica, prewashed in methanol and activated at 110°C, with toluene - acetone - chloroform 40:35:25. Visualization with 2,6-dichloroquinone-4-chloroimide (Gibbs’ reagent). A selective, rapid and simple method with good options for quantitative evaluation. Quantification by photometry.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 10, 94-97 (1990). TLC of hesperidin on polyamide with methanol. Quantification by densitometry at 306 nm, CV 0.37%.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 10, 105-107 (1990). TLC on silica with acetone first, and then with ethyl acetate – isopropanol – water 10:7:3. Detection by spraying separately with Vaskovsky’s reagent, ninhydrin, and Dragendorff’s reagent for different components. Quantification of total phospholipids by colorimetry after elution, or by comparison of spot areas.
