The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Bull. Chinese Trad. Med. (Zhongyao Tongbao) 13, 338-340 (1988). TLC on silica with toluene - methanol - acetic acid 8:1:2 or chloroform - methanol - 25% NH3 40:10:1. Quantification by densitometry at 240 nm. RSD 1, 4%, recovery >98%.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 19, 349-350 (1988). TLC on silica with chloroform - methanol 8:2. Quantification by densitometry at lS 500 nm, lR 760 nm.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 8, 348-349 (1988). TLC of secoiridoids on polyamide with ethyl acetate - methanol 5:1. Detection under UV 254 nm or 365 nm. Identification by comparison of the Rf values and spot colors with standards.
Equisitina Bunge, by thin-layer chromatography.) (Chinese). J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 21, 19-21 (1990). TLC of ephedrine and 2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-pyrazine on silica with ethyl acetate - ethanol - diethylamine 70:30:2. Detection by spraying with Dragendorff’s reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 520 nm and 274 nm, respectively. CV 0.9 - 1.8%. The calibration curves were linear over ranges of about 1 - 10 ng.

TLC of 13 benzylisoquinoline alkaloids on silica with 1) benzene – acetone – NH3 15:15:1, 2) chloroform – methanol – benzene – ethyl acetate 7:3:2:1, and 3) ethyl acetate – chloroform – methanol – diethylamine – NH3 8:2:2:0.5:0.1. Quantification of different alkaloids by densitometry between each two developments. RSD = 1.0 – 3.0%.

Methods are presented for a) rutin in Sophora japonica with chloroform - acetone - formic acid 10:4:1. Densitometry by absorbance at 254 nm; b) galantamin in Galanthus nivalis with toluene - ethyl acetate - diethylamine 7:2:1. Densitometry by absorbance 280 nm; c) flavonolignans in Silybium marianum with ethyl acetate - acetone - formic acid - water 50:30:15:15. Densitometry by absorbance at 288 nm.
