Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Indian Drugs 38 (5), 230-235 (2001). HPTLC on silica gel with benzene - methanol 4:1. Visualization by spraying with Libermann-Burchard reagent. Quantitation by densitometry at 536 nm.
J. Chinese Trad. & Herb. Drugs (Zhongcaoyao) 33 (1), 62-64 (2002). TLC on silica gel with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 4:1. Detection by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating. Identification by finger print technique. Discussion of use of the procedure for quality control of the crude drugs of Costus L., combined with other techniques.
J. Chinese Trad. & Herb. Drugs (Zhongcaoyao) 33 (5), 420-422 (2002). TLC on silica gel with hexane - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 8:2:1. Detection by spraying with 5% vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent and heating at 100°C for 5 min. Quantitation by densitometry at 540 nm. Detection limit 0.1µg.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 15, 442-448 (2002). HPTLC of gallic acid, caffeic acid, and protocatechuic acid on silica gel with multiple development in a horizontal chamber with dipropyl ether - heptane - formic acid 5:4:1. Quantitation by densitometry at 254 nm. Detection limits were 156 ng for protocatechuic acid, 156 ng for gallic acid, and 625 ng for caffeic acid. New simple qualitative and quantitative procedure.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 16, 298-302 (2003). HPTLC of rutin and quercetin on silica gel, pre-washed with methanol, with n-butanol - acetic acid - water 36:5:5 and toluene - chloroform - acetone - acetic acid 4:4:4:1, respectively. Visualization and quantitation by densitometry at 366 nm. The method was validated using calibration standards of rutin trihydrate and quercetin regarding specificity, limits of detection and quantitation, precision, accuracy and linearity.
CBS 91, 9-11 (2003). HPTLC on silica gel with ethyl acetate - 2-propanol - water 13:5:2 over 65 mm with chamber saturation. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde - sulfuric acid reagent, followed by heating at 110 °C for 5-10 min. Visual evaluation in white light and at 254 nm.
Planta med. 70, 54-58 (2004). Analytical and preparative TLC of diospongin A, B, and syringaresinol on silica gel and the monoacetonide and diacetonide of diospongin C, piperitol, and sesaminone on RP-18 with methanol - water 5:2. Analytical TLC of bis(4-N,N-dimethylaminobenzoate) on silica gel using chloroform - methanol 20:1. Detection under UV light at 254 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 18, 319-322 (2005). HPTLC of emodin and phenolic acids (protocatechuic, homoprotocatechuic, caffeic, syringic, vanillic, ferulic, p-hydroxyphenylacetic, alpha-resorcylic, p-coumaric, gallic and ellagic acid) on silica gel in horizontal chambers with toluene - dichloromethane - ethyl acetate 4:4:1. Also two-dimensional TLC of phenolic acids on cellulose with benzene - methanol - acetic acid - acetonitrile 16:2:1:1 in the first direction and sodium formate - formic acid - water 10:1:200 in the second direction. After drying the chromatograms were observed under UV light at 254 nm before and after treatment with ammonia vapor. Derivatization was performed by spraying with either diazotized sulfanilic acid in 20 % sodium carbonate solution or with 2 % aqueous iron(III) chloride. Detection limits between 10 and 64 ng. Videodocumentation and quantitation by densitometry.
